Searched by area as it was a mid way stop between Budapest where we had been working, and Amsterdam where we were working next otherwise I would not have known about this town or hotel. Our requirements are always the same - safe parking, good internet access, quiet room, nearby shops for supplies and fuel for next full days travelling. This hotel fitted every requirement well. Our only mistake was not to eat in the hotel. It was very busy on the Saturday night so we thought we would stretch our legs and walk around the town and find somewhere quick to eat (thinking as the bar was so busy it could take a while!) but the local chinese restaurant we found thinking would be a quick fix actually took 2 hours for a simple 2 course meal. We woud definately stay again if in the area and definately eat at the hotel as I think the restaurant would have been fantastic. The hotel has a large range of spa services and the other block across the road as an indoor pool also. Sadly we were not there long enough to be able to use any of these facilities.

food is excellent and elaborate. room is cosy, well heated (-12 outside, so it mattered), all is v clean. perfect for a stop over
