The helpfuness and friendliness of our host, and his willingness to communicate with us in English. Also the general standard of our romm, and the breakfast which was supplied. Nothing comes to mind. It exceeded our expectations.

The owner of the house was very nice and funny. The room was very big. The breakfast good even if only "German style". Goslar center is only 10 minutes walking. The bathroom was very small (but clean and comfortable enough).

We received a very warm welcome from the hotel owner. We felt like at home at Gastehause Engelcke. The guest house is very well placed both for having a good hike in the hilly countryside and for visiting the town of Goslar.

A very nice accommodation with quiet surroundings. A beautiful and homely atmosphere. Very comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Many TV-channels. Nice breakfast. The proprietor was very kind and helpful and provided useful information in English as well as in German language. Walking distance from the Central station and the city center. Also close to the old part of the city. A grocery store was just a couple of blocks away and one could use a fully equipped kitchen in the house. Gästehaus Engelcke in Goslar is my first choice next time I visit Germany.

Это не отель, а именно гостевой дом. Расположен на обычной улочке, в ряду других частных домов. Хозяин сам встречает, сам приносит завтрак. Расположение очень удачное для прогулки по городу. Парковка - под окнами на улице. В мае проблемы не было. Не знаю, как в сезон. Нет интернета.

Vi fick ett mycket charmigt rum överst i huset, med snedtak och fin utsikt över det lugna område Engelke ligger i, 5 à 10 minuters trevlig promenad från centrum. Allt var skinande rent, och värdparet var mycket vänliga och hjälpsamma. Frukosten hade allt man kan förvänta sig. Ett tips från ägaren om restaurang i närheten visade sig vara Bingo - följ hans råd och njut av maten! Rummet var värt priset och vi är mycket nöjda!

Wir hatten ein schönes, ruhiges Doppelzimmer mit Balkon. Der Blick ging ins Grüne. Von Weitem sah man die Türme der Jacobikirche.

Best een aardig hotel. De inrichting is wat ouderwets, maar netjes. Het ligt in een mooie wijk vlakbij het centrum. Het personeel is behulpzaam en de prijs redelijk. De badkamer was vrij klein.

We hadden daar alleen ontbijt, maar van een zo grote hoeveelheid dat we het allemaal lang niet op konden. Ik zou het zo niet weten of het moest het weer zijn, maar daar kan ook Gästehaus Engelcke niets aan veranderen.

Ejerne, en mor og hendes søn Thomas,er et par usædvanligt flinke og imødekomne mennesker. Bla. fik vi deres garage stillet til rådighed kvit og frit.

Heel hartelijk welkom geheten. Plaats voor de motoren in de garage. Goed ontbijt.goeie bedden.net sanitair.rustige ligging.en toch maar 10 minuten lopen naar de binnenstad

Die unmittelbare Nähe zur Innenstadt von Goslar ist Genial. Die Familie Engelcke ist super nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Schlafen wie bei "Oma" !!! (So kamen wir uns vor in diesen grossen, hohen Zimmern mit Mobiliar aus vergangenen Tagen.) Die Duschen müssten dringend erneuert werden - überall hat es viel Schimmelbefall - dies ist sehr unangenehm und man muss aufpassen, dass man nicht die Wände berührt beim duschen, aber für eine Nacht, kann man da auch mal ein Auge zudrücken !!!

Das Gästehaus ist einer alten Villa untergebracht. Wir hatten einen schönen Balkon von wo aus man über Teile der Altstadt blicken konnte. Wunderbar. Das Bad war sehr klein aber komplett neu. Uns persönlich stört ein kleines Bad nicht, man will ja schließlich nicht drin tanzen. Uns waren die Matratzen zu weich aber das ist Geschmacksache und keine wirkliche Abwertung. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
