This family-run guesthouse is located in the wine-growing town of Brauneberg, 650 ft from the Moselle River. All rooms at Gästehaus Görges offer a view of Moselle vineyards. The bright rooms of Gästehaus Görges are simply furnished. All rooms have a shower and some have a toilet in the room. A breakfast buffet is served each morning at Pension Görges. Guests can also relax in the shared TV room. On-site parking is free at Gästehaus Görges. It is 5 minutes from the A1 highway and a 20-minute drive from central Trier and the Porta Nigra Roman Gate. There are many hiking and cycling trails in the nearby Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park and the German-Luxemburg Nature Park. Gästehaus Görges is also an ideal base for a cycling tour along the Moselle. A fantastic place to stay. Very friendly hosts. The most cosy place I ever saw. Great area to walk, to see romantic little towns and to visit Trier and Koblenz (we went even to Heidelberg from here). Here, every morning your day starts with a large very tasty breakfast. Conclusion: when you visit this area, book a room here and you will come back.

The location, the price, cleanliness and owners (who were terrific). A great find, the Goerges B&B in Braunenberg is a wonderful place to stay. It is convenient to Bernkastel-Kues and Trier, and sits right on the Mosel river. A small, old wine house, it is cute and cozy, and ample parking available at the rear of the guesthouse. Renovated recently, the rooms are typically European but nicely furnished and exceptionally clean and comfortable. The proprietors are delightful, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and they they encouraged us to use the extra brotchen and meats/cheese to fix sandwiches to take with us. A reasonably priced place, away from the crowds of the tourist sites. A great stay -- definitely will stay there again when we return to the area.

Unbeatable price/quality wise. We had a spotlessly clean room on the first floor with private bathroom on the ground floor. A shared kitchen with basic cooking facilities is available as well as a covered patio where smokers can sit. Breakfast is served in a common sitting room and was very good, with a boiled egg, fruit juice, yogurt, bread rolls, jam, fresh fruits, cheese and cold cuts. Not a drawback per se but the owner likes to talk a lot, fine if you enjoy this but I'm not a sociable personality so a bit much for me. Also, he was a bit peeved and called me at 20:15 on arrival day to check up on us although the reservation form mentions arrival is ok between 18:00 and 21:00. Apparently he expected me to call and inform him about the arrival time. This was mentioned 4 times during the stay and became tiresome.

- Well, everything... - Great location; 30 min. to Frankfurt Am Hahn airport - Really nice surroundings: Mosel river banks, wine tasking possibilities across the street etc. - Family friendly place as there as nice children's playground close. - Really great price!

An excellent guesthouse just next to the river Mosel. The owners were really nice, and even though they do not speak alot of english they tried to help and make themselves understood. Really good breakfast!!

Sehr nettes kleines Gasthaus an der schönen Mosel, ruhige Lage am Moselufer, ideal zum Radeln, Wandern und Erholung. Familienfreundlich und tierlieb. Saubere und moderne Zimmer, reichliches Frühstück und sehr sympatischer Service. Sehr empfehlendswert, da Preis und Qualität stimmen!

Die Gastfreundschaft der Besitzer, die sehr darum bemüht waren, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Die Lage direkt an der Mosel für lange Spaziergänge oder Radtouren

Mensen doen hun uiterste best het je naar de zin te maken. Kaarsjes en houtkachels branden bij binnenkomst en er is een ruim assortiment wijn. Daarnaast is alles super schoon. bed in kamer 1 is hard en niet onze voorkeur.

Das Ambiente ist herrlich. Altes Gemäuer und urige Balken gepaart mit moderner Austattung. Die Sanitäre Austattung ist auf der Höhe der Zeit. Es ist dort sehr ruhig und die Betten sind super.

Wij zijn supervriendelijk ontvangen . Dit was het best gasthuis waar we ooit verbleven. Zeker een aanrader !!! Ontbijt was geen ontbijt maar meer een brunch. Ons zien ze zeker terug ! Alles was dik in orde.

Wir sind für 4 Übernachtungen bei den Eheleuten Görges gewesen. Wir sind sehr freundlich empfangen worden und man war jederzeit bereit uns auf Fragen Rede und Antwort zu stehen. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön und sauber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, dass Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut. Leider ist in Brauneberg Abends nicht viel los. Das Bad eine Etage tiefer , aber dies war uns bekannt !
