The location was excellent. Short walking distance to downtown Garmisch with lots of shops and restaurants. Easy travel to Garmisch ski slopes and nearby Ehrwald Austria skiing. The breakfast buffet was nice and the coffee was very good. The owners were very accomadating and pleasant. They speak very good English.

Great Gastehaus. The room was clean and affordable. The service provided by Manuela was outstanding. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect (situated between downtown Garmisch and the American Edelweiss Lodge. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved the location. The Thier Family was extremely helpful and friendly. Wish we could vacation there in the summer as well. Just a little uncomfortable with the feather pillow - but then we are spoiled with our pillow at home.

The staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-furnished. The common room Is great, and so is the breakfast room. The garden is also well-maintained and invites people to sit outside. It is also within easy walking distance to the town center. I will be going back in a few weeks!

I loved the couple who run/own the place. They were friendly, helpful and responsive. The back yard and breakfast area sported a fabulous view of the mountains, making morning and afternoon windowns spectacular. A wonderful, immaculate place to enjoy Bavaria.

Wonderful hosts, good breakfast. We all loved the bacon and marble bread, rolls eggs, cheeses and lunch meats. They even had breakfast ready early for us since our train was leaving early. Very comfortable room. Would stay again, however I think it gets booked early and there are other cute b&b nearby. Adorable town and good restaurants. Very quaint area and definitely worth a visit. Beautiful hiking areas Weather can change quickly and due to rainy weather it limited what we could do. However, because our room was so nice, we took naps in our comfortable room. It is about a 10 -15 mInute walk from train station and it was tricky for us to find the first time. It is a fine walk as long as no luggage and back packs . The gorge was amazing and alpspitz (?) was wonderful hiking and views if zugspitz is fogged in.

Gästehaus Maria is a lovely guest house, located in a nice neighborough of Garmish. The owners are very welcoming and attentioned with the guests. The bedroom was simply but nicely/tastefully decorated. The breakfast buffet is taking place in a "veranda" (green/glass house), with view on te garden and the mountains. Altogether, this has been a very nice place to stay.

This is a charming guesthouse located about 5 minutes from the main square. Our family room was a generous size and well appointed. Great host and lovely breakfast in the morning with terrific views. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.

Замечательный отель. Мы останавливались там с ребенком 7 месяцев. Большой номер с паласом на полу, всё чисто - малыш с радостью везде ползал. Хозяйка дала нам маленькую ванночку для малыша - это было здорово. Ставила баночки с питанием в холодильник бара, разогревала в микроволновке. Жаль что в номере нет маленького холодильника

Невероятно приятное место. Тихо, мило, хозяева очень радушные и внимательные. Завтрак прекрасный. Очень теплые ощущения оставило пребывание в гестхаусе. Если будем еще в Гармише, постараемся остановиться в Марие.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage. Der Ausblick beim Frühstück ist klasse. Gutes Frühstück und sehr nette Gastgeber Hellhörigkeit in unserem Zimmer durch die angrenzenden und über einem liegenden Badezimmer und die fehlende Verdunkelung der Fenster

Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr geräumig. Das Frühstück sehr lecker und reichlich Auswahl. Der Frühstücksraum ist im Wintergarten untergebracht mit herrlichen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlichen und haben immer gute Tips zu Unternehmungen. Man ist zu Fuß schnell im Ortszentrum Garmisch und auch im Wandergebiet Kramer. Jederzeit wieder!
