I was travelling with my adult daughter . We found the bedroom space comfortable and the beds with the feather comforters were a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and we felt safe. There was a grocery store across the street which was well stocked and very handy. We did not make use of any of the common facilities so really can't comment.
We were surprised that we had to deposit our room key upon leaving the premises (not a huge deal but would have been good to know). The kitchen facilities were very "tired/worn". The biggest surprise was that the shared shower facilities on the floor had no privacy - just a general shower room with cubicles but no curtains although the pictures on the website clearly show curtains. We were only there for 2 days so just didn't shower there. We found the staff civil but not engaging (I am fully fluent in German so there was no language barrier).
Good place to stay if you do not want access to kitchen during visist. Close to supermarkets, close to ferry and easy to get to center with tram.
If you can afford to stay in a better place, avoid this one. The only up side was the price.
Room floor really dirty, with carpet... you can see it hasn't been cleaned for a while, if ever. Everything looked old and dirty in the room to be honest. For me it was a terrible night. Our wasted neighbors, partying and drinking all night didn't help either, I had a close encounter with one of them at 5 am and he looked like a zombie in the corridor. It's very scary, and you have no option because the bathrooms are shared. I think a woman alone would be in danger using the toilets there because the place looked abandoned. Only the drunk zombies walking around.
The staff were very helpful and put themselves out for you.
Nice appartment, close to supermarkets and shops. Good free parking. Great, economic place for those catching an early morning ferry to Sweden.
Newly renovated apartment. The kitchenette is compact and well-equipped, very clean bathroom and toilette.
The wall around the bed can be covered with piece of furniture or wall carpet.
Nice hotel near ferry harbor. Staff is very friendly. First I was suspicious about it, because price is low, but I just needed something over night... Actually, I was positively surprised. Room was nice, with little kitchen and large bathroom with shower. By the looks I would say, it was recently renovated. Everything was nice and clean, towels and bad linen in good shape... I would easily stay there for couple of days...
It looks like block of apartments from 70's...
It was clen, good staff and good location compaired to bus transportation
I would not like dogs in the hotel and i would like to have wifi in the room.
there was nothing to complain about
Price, Could not beat it! Location to ferry terminals. Tram close by to visit downtown area. You wouldn't want to honeymoon at this place but it was a great place to rest for a night!
Bigger and more towels.
Staff prepared babybed and also allowed to check in at 7:00 AM as we arrived to Rostock.
it's like an old dormitory with quite a lot of potential in the rooms which no one makes use of...
even for one night stay it was to bad.... incredibly dirty, awful smell, beds impossible to sleep in... We'd rather pay twice as much next time than come back to save some 30 euros :)
