Cercavamo un hotel dove soggiornare una notte durante un viaggio itinerante e questo albergo ha soddisfatto pienamente le nostre aspettative. E' un posto tranquillo, con ampia possibilità di parcheggio. C'è anche un buon ristorante.

Platte Venn 8 is a house with two apartments housing max. 6 each. Combined, they are an excellent place to stay for a larger group of people. The facilities were all excellent and clean. Very sharp in pricing.

Nothing really. Only note is that availability of a car is definitely recommended. The walk to Monschau is more than 5 km and likely not that interesting.

Yet again a great stay here, staff as always very friendly. Buffet breakfast second to none and the steak in the restaurant worthy of a fine dining award, the best I have ever eaten

We love Monschau & have been there several times in the past couple of years and apart from one occasion when the Stehling was fully booked, we always stay here. The rooms are comfortable & clean, the staff make you feel welcome and Eva's breakfast is just fantastic! There are no negatives about the hotel apart from the fact that it's fully booked when we wanted to book in for the Christmas market!!

The room was large and comfortable and the breakfast was very good and broad in its scope of food. Coffee was always available and probably the best we had throughout the Europe tour.

Our room was next to the road and was a bit noisy around 6 am with windows opened.

Been here a few times now and never had a bad experience It's 50 miles from the nurbergring of which we visit The roads are amazing so makes the ride magic !

Our room (apartment) was basic but clean and comfortable and well worth the money. Our meal in the restaurant was superb and friendly on the pocket.

The only complaint I would have,and this is minor,is that the staff smoked.

Our 3rd stay here and again it was excellent. We are given the same room each time and greeted like long lost friends by Ava, Heidi and Mark. The guest house is clean and comfortable and in a beautiful location. Cannot be bettered in our opinion, thanks again for a great week.

The alert ment we stayed in was fantastic and the food was brillint just what you want at the end of some long days

The appartment is big but not cosy. The furniture is functional but not very attractive.

Great warm welcome and hospitality. Even late at night, we were served some food from the kitchen. The apartment was beyond expectation, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Two min from Monchau. Ideal place for discovering city and country side. Thank you to alllllll.the breakfast is to die for... I could not believe this was on offer for so little money..

We were motorcycling and the Gastehaus Zum Stehling was ideal as it gave us an apartment style choice with a kitchenette and seating area along with a lovely shower room. The lady who greeted us was courteous and friendly. Although the staff weren't English speakers (why would they be?) they were also patient enough when my pal and myself struggled with a phrase or two. This is a fine area and is perfectly situated for a trip to Monschau in the Eifel region of Germany.....it's so close to the border of Belgium too!

We stayed here with friends and had ajoining apartments which each had room to seat four to eat if required. The rooms were comfortable, very clean and the kitchenette was very well equipped with fridge and microwave etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke some english so we were able to communicate quite well with our minimal german and lots of good humour on both sides. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was reasonably priced although the food was a little uninspiring. Very large carpark at front of hotel. Excellent value for money overall.

This is the second time we have stopped here .the staff are so helpfull and friendly .they cant do enough to make you feel welcome and like your part of the family .we are a group if mature motorcyclists and have stopped here on the way to our destination .we were made that welcome we never ventured out the hotel .everything we needed was at the hotel .food is fabulous with generous helpings .i would highly reccomend this hotel .

great room, we actually had one of the apartments and the facilities were very good. The breakfast is second to none absolutely spoilt for choice and the food in the restaurant is very good as well

The rooms were excellent, staff very friendly and the food in the restaurant was the best German meal we had during our week in Germany. Nothing was too much trouble. We were a group of nine and everyone commented on how good the b & b was. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Monschau and the Eiffel area.

Rooms very clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff who went out of their way to assist non-German speaking guests. Very quiet and safe area. The best breakfast buffet I have ever had. I ate dinner at the restaurant twice and it was fantastic. Great value for your money and I would return to the area specifically for the hotel and restaurant. You will be very satisifed and not regret booking hotel/eating at restaurant.
