Although there was free wi-fi,MIT was occasionally slow. No major problem though.
As with other German accommodation houses, there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. This would be a great plus for European guest houses.
Had the usual twin single beds pushed together to make a double bed.
Although a few things have been listed above, they are only minor and, overall, the service provided was very good.
This is a great location. Away from the bigger town but still handy to everything. It is close to Eibsee, Zugspitze, hiking trails, shops, supermarkets etc. Grainau is just down the road and Garmish not too much further.
The staff were exceptionally friendly. Suzanne (daughter) speaks perfect English and was also prepared to help us with our German. During my stay, I had a fall whilst hiking and received a gash on my leg. Although not necessary, Suzanne offered to accompany me to the doctor/hospital to act as an interpreter. Her mother and father, although speaking less English, were equally as friendly.
Room was large with its own balcony with a view of the nearby mountain.
Breakfast was continental but quite sufficient.
Room included bathrobes and shampoo, and also complimentary fruit and bottled water.
Free newspaper (albeit in German).
