Everything. Owners were just great. Dinner was excellent. Room was spotless with great shower, free parking, good typical German breakfast. Close to Triberg, yet not too close. Fantastic place.

The location is very relaxing and beautiful. The hotel has also a restaurant with delicious traditional dishes. Fantastic!!!

Situated in a lovely small town. Ideal for hiking and driving around. Food in restaurant is great. Family apartment with 2 rooms has own entrance from the street. Staff are friendly and helpful. Chef was ready to greet us every morning. Highly recommend the restaurant!

Breakfast is basic, cold meat and bread with cereal and jogurt. We booked 2 rooms together because we have 4 kids that need to be close and ended up getting a lovely family room apart from the hotel and the second room was in the next door building on the second floor. Luckily my eldest was fine staying far away from us but keep this in mind if you have younger kids.

Room was wide and very comfortable. Though we expected to have supper at the hotel, the restaurant was closed on Saturday. However, the other restaurant, which the personnel recommended, was absolutely good. Honestly, the alternative restaurant could be even better than the one at the hotel!

As it was mentioned previously, the breakfast was rather basic. But we wouldn't complain it too much since we were the only guest at the time. We got a feeling that one should not expect fluent English to be spoken at the hotel. But they were kind and helpful.

Very clean and well kept family room, with two bedrooms, one bathroom, and living room with a flat screen tv. All with view to the Black Forest. The food at the hotel's restaurant, next door, was delicious. The hotel and restaurant staff don't speak English but they make an effort to understand and even explain the menu. Tv only has channels in German.

Everything was excellent, those who complained about the Wi Fi do not need to worry anymore it works flawlessly. room was clean food was great my wife and i enjoyed every minute.

The modern family room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is small but has a luxurious shower. Good 2-person beds in both bedrooms. No kitchen, just a sink and coffee maker. Nice breakfast, served at the table.

Wifi/WLAN didn't work properly. Staff was not very willing to fix it. Hornberg is apparently just out of the region of the full Schwarzwald discount card, you'll get only a card for free public transport. No free entrances.

The rooms were large and comfortable. The shower was luxurious!

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The suite was clean, comfortable, very nicely decorated and great value for money.

We liked everything. This has been a highlight of our trip. Lovely village - impeccable hotel - the proprietors take a delight in ensuring even the little things are tasteful and delightful. Absolute privacy yet felt very homey. Attention to detail such as rubber strips to quiet shutting doors, motion sensors for hall lights, small trays of sweets plus Pot Pourri strategically placed throughout the Gasthaus. Excellent comfort in the bed. Lovely breakfast of rolls, black forest meats / cheeses and home-made jams. Excellent restaurant meals. Free parking & Internet. All excellent.

Could not fault this lovely boutique Gasthaus. Well done - many thanks to our host & hostess.

Mycket prisvärt, mycket sympatisk personal och rent och fräscht. Badrummet alldeles nyrenoverat. Lätt att parkera och lätt att nå olika vandringsleder. Vi erbjöds att ta så mycket jättefrasiga och goda matsäcksbrötchen med ost och skinka vi ville vid frukosten - detta räckte till lunch på vandringarna!

Att vi inte stannade ett par dagar till...

Zimmer sind sehr sauber und bequem. Die Leute dort sind alle freundlich und nett.

Schon der erste telefonische Kontakt war sehr herzlich. Uns wurde für die Motorräder zum Unterstellen sogar der private Tiefgaragenplatz überlassen. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig, hell und gemütlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Wirtsläute haben auch Extrawünsche erfüllt. Auch sonst war das Essen sehr gut.

Außer dem Wetter hatten wir nichts zu bemängeln.

Sehr Sauber-Rauschebach aber Schalldichte Fenster-leider dadurch weniger Frischluft.Sehr gutes Bier.

Schmaler Durchgang zu den Zimmern.

Das Familienzimmer war sauber, geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Wir waren mit einem einjährigen Kind unterwegs und waren froh über einen Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher im Wohnzimmer. Die Gastleute waren sehr entgegenkommend, freundlich und Kinder waren willkommen. Das Abendessen war qualitativ sehr gut.

Wir wahren rundum sehr zufrieden,Essen,Zimmer,Freundlichkeit,alles in allem, so wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten.Da wir über Ostern wahren, haben wir das schön vorbereitete Osterkörbchen zum Früstück,als gelungene Überreaschung empfunden.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und das Wirtepaar war durchwegs sehr freundlich und gab uns auch Ausflugstipps für schlechtes Wetter. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, sehr hell und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück stand bereits auf unserem Tisch als wir aus dem Zimmer kamen, was wir als sehr positiv empfanden. Das Abendessen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Wirtin hat sich sogar um unsere Kleine gekümmert, damit wir ruhiger essen konnten. Durchwegs haben wir den Aufenthalt als sehr positiv erlebt.
