Food was good, every day the same but the quality is very good. The localization is very good, just 4 stops from Centre. The staff if very nice. There is no confort, its really good for to spend only nights there. The furniture are of bad quality. Internet is only in few rooms and very poor. BUt the price is quite ok so in fact its corresponds to the quality

The hotel is a traditional old buiding, very clean. The room is big, quiet.The bathroom was big, with a window and it was bright.Downstairs is the restaurant which has tables outside the hotel.Close to the hotel is the tram(No 1) station (Maria Hilskirche). The center is 20 minutes by foot. The hotel does not have elavator. The rooms are at the first and at the second floors.

The Reception staff and wait staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We were particularly pleased with the on site restaurant because we were there over a holiday and the majority of restaurants in town were closed. There was parking on site for our car, and it was an easy walk to the old city, although there was a streetcar line very close if we had decided to use that.

Quiet location, large room and bathroom, nice restaurant (but not for breakfast). Poor WiFi, Poor Breakfast - few vegetables and fruits, no forks!!! Free parking but no place to park!!. Hotel staff were nice enough but not overly friendly/welcoming. It is a bit far from all the attractions.

We spent only one night at Hotel Gasthaus Schützen on our way to the north of Germany. It was a comfortable stop-over: the room was simple, but clean and had what we needed.WiFi was good, the staff was friendly and the Gasthaus had a pleasant atmoshere that we were sorry not to have time to enjoy.

Hotel was handy for us as we had a car; free parking and then there is literally a tram stop outside which takes you right into town in about 10min (€5.30 or so for a day ticket) Room was clean and simple. Breakfast was fairly poor compared to other hotels/guesthouses we stayed in. Hotel staff were nice enough but not overly friendly/welcoming.

The Hotel is quite nice, it is very simple, but still has everything needed. The breakfast is excellent, so much of everything. It is a bit far from all the attractions and the train station. It took us about 30 minutes to get there on foot.

Está bien ubicado, fuera del centro pero se llega allí a pie tras 15 minutos de caminata. En planta baja tiene un restaurante muy bien servido donde comíamos todas las noches. Afuera hay un biergarten que en días lindos es muy aprovechable. Algunas partes del hotel están un poco venidas a menos y no cuenta con ascensor. Si la habitación da al biergarten puede ser un poco ruidosa.

Personnel souriant, accueillant. Si vous arrivez depuis la gare cherchez le tram no 1 et arrêtez-vous à la station Maria Hilfkirche. L'hôtel est à 50 m sur la droite. Nous avons apprécié le repas du soir au restaurant de l'hôtel et le petit déjeûner varié. Jolie promenade à proximité sur la colline avec une vue 360 degrés sur la ville et la région depuis la tour du sommet. Chambre spacieuse, meubles sommaires mais lits confortables. Situation calme. Que du bonheur! Un rideau occultant ne fonctionnait pas (chambre 5) et nous l'avons signalé.

Trotz ziemlich spartanischer Ausstattung der Zimmer, ein sehr ansprechendes, einfaches, aber sauberes und sogar gemütliches Hotel. Restaurant sehr gut, Service gut, Frühstück gut und reichlich. Sehr gut gelegen an der Strassenbahn, schon fast im Stadtzentrum. 1) Kontrolle dessen wohin man im Internet browsen darf. Selbst Flickr ist "verboten". Unglaubliche Zensur. Noch nie erlebt. 2) Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Aber man hatte nie das Gefühl, dass man als Gast (mehr als 10 Tage) gekannt und wiedergekannt wurde. Ein korrektes, aber ziemlich steril-anonymes Verhältnis zum Gast.

Le personnel était très agréable et disponible. Le petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix de la chambre était excellent et servi dans une ambiance très familiale. Les deux salles permettent de manger ou boire un verre sur place et il est agréable de côtoyer des personnes de tous les âges; il s'agit également d'un lieu où se rencontrent les gens de la région. Nous y retournerons volontiers.

Ottima posizione per visitare la città di Friburgo (15 min a piedi dal centro), camera pulita e confortevole, personale disponibile e colazione buona ed abbondante. Per chi come noi è dotato di auto la posizione è buona per visitare la foresta nera. Prezzo alto come tutti gli hotel di friburgo.
