The property has a lovely countyside location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is excellent in the restaurant. The breakfast was very good. Paul and his staff tried to make us feel at home. We wish we could have stayed another night. This is close to the Rhine River Valley and we wanted to see this area of Germany and enjoy a cruise on the river. This hotel was a good choice for us. We flew home from Frankfurt the morning after our stay and the kitchen staff had some of the breakfast ready for us...earlier than the scheduled breakfast time. The Frankfurt airport was approx 1.5 hours from this location. |

We were received by an elderly charming lady. She and all of the family/staff in this family owned hotel seemed to love their guests and really cared for them. We felt like almost being guests in their home. The Deluxe room was a lovely big one with a big bathroom. The location was quiet. The view from the window was not very exciting. |

Very accomdating host and staff, arranged an early breakfast to facilitate a departure at Frankfort. Served lunch and dinner on a Sunday, Food and decore were exceptional. Breakfast was more like a Sunday brunch even served freshly made scrambled eggs. They are a winegut and both the Red and White wines were great. Great stiop for a night arriving or departing Frankfort airport if you have a car.. |

We were welcomed with a big smile and an offer to carry our bags in perfect English. We had a (very) Deluxe Double Room in this family run (for several generations) hotel, the food was magnificent, huge portions and the breakfasts the best we have had anywhere in the world. The service was exemplary and the atmosphere wonderful. I have only said this once before (about a place in S.Africa) but we really want to return! There was absolutely nothing to dislike. |

The hotel has big modern rooms and is set in a modern country village. No other facilities available in walking distance but no need as food in hotel is very good and well priced (if a bit big). Locals love it. We had a room with a balcony over looking the hills that was perfect. They have English menue's ect. Easy parking. Have own wine (Euro 11) which is very good and wine garden (only bottled beer). If you want calm this is the place. |

The staff were terrific, making us feel at home. Most guests, as well as most people having dinner at the restaurant were German, many local, and the quality of breakfast and dinner meals was outstanding. The hotel itself is about 2-3 km up the hill from the Rhein, in a very pretty, quiet area. We had a balcony room, and the view was great. |

Gasthaus Stahl was a highlight of our trip through Germany. From the moment you enter, you become part of the family. Three generations of the Stahl family play a part in making sure that everything is perfect. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and large. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional. |

We only stayed at Gasthaus Weingut Stahl one night, but it was absolutely fabulous. The people were all very kind and helpful. The food at their restaurant was excellent and they have a small winery on-site. The wine was great and we took a couple bottles with us on our journey through Germany. WE LOVED THIS GASTHAUS! |

This place was excellent. Our room overlooked the beautiful countryside. The owner/chef, Paul, and his wife, aunt and father were so nice and very accommodating. We stayed two nights and both evenings we ate in their lovely pub/dining room. It was great to watch locals as well as guests enjoying a wonderful evening of good food and conviviality. |

Everything. It was like being part of a family. The breakfasts are amazing and the 'breakfast service lady' moved from table to table ensuring you have everything you want and answering all your questions. Evening meals are delicious and served with care and pride with the hotels own wine. Leaving! |
