This quietly located, family-run guest house stands in the Glane district of Bad Iburg, in the Teutoburg Forest. A great base for motorcycle and bicycle trips, it offers traditional-style rooms and free Wi-Fi. The country-house style rooms at the Wiemann-Sander feature wooden interiors. All rooms include cable TV, a seating area and private bathroom. Traditional German cuisine and seasonal dishes are served in the rustic-style restaurant. Guests are welcome to relax in the in-house bowling alley or at the well-stocked bar with its wooden furnishings. Gasthaus Wiemann-Sander offers free rental bikes and is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding Osnabrücker Land countryside. It is 300 metres from Averbecks Speicher, a local history museum. On-site parking is free at the Wieland-Sander. It is 15 km from Osnabrück and 40 km from Münster. People working there very welcome, helpfull. Restuarant good. Internet in restaurant working well but in my room poor signal - work anyway. Good value for money. Room old style, clean and well maintain. I will be back there. Not possibly to pay with credit card but there are two cash maschines near by, around maximum 100 meters away. All the rest ok.

Sehr freundlich zuvorkomment.Wir wurden super bedient,haben klasse gegessen und gut geschlafen.Es hat spaß gemacht und wir werden das Hotel auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen.

De warme, spontane ontvangst./ De professionele manier van opkomende vragen over de accomodatie en de omgeving, met bijbehorende faciliteiten zoals pinautomaten en openingstijden van winkels ed, was perfect. Niks was teveel. Ook het verzoek voor een eerder ontbijt dan het reguliere tijdstip werd geregeld. Evenzo de motorplaatsen waren goed. Al bij al voor mij een adres om te noteren voor een volgende keer. Nee. Ik ben tevreden.

The Gasthaus is located in a quiet village which is part of Bad Iburg. Friendly and helpful hosts who supply you with all the information you need for a pleasant stay. Good place to start for walking, (motor)biking or visiting interesting towns nearby by car.
