staff has been very kind. reception and breakfast room was nice and in a traditional style. room and shower was hot
hotel was right outside (1km) from the highway between Salzburg and Munchen, so the position was quite uncomfortable to visit the city or to ski. room was a bit old.
We have stayed here for 3 years now on our way south to Italy. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The hotel has everything that can be expected in a Bavarian hotel i.e. Comfort and cleanliness. Perfectly good breakfasts and a great Bavarian beer after travelling for more than 8 hours on the day of arrival
There was nothing to not like. We will definitely stay again next year
Everything. It is not hyper-modern, but that's a plus from my side. Furniture, facilities (and staff) is as if you traveled back to the 80s of the last century, but everything is good as new and clean. Staff is friendly, and waited for us with the check-in until 23:00 no problem, as we got stuck in some heavy traffic. Very nice price/performance ratio, and very close to the Autobahn.
Who likes modern environment/decoration, won't necessarily like this hotel. Selection on the breakfast table is also a bit limited.
Lovely German town quiet but easy acess to autobhan
Old fashioned decoration of rooms.
The hospitality of the host, The wifi is good, The hotel is near the train station, the river and a good italian restaurant (il Porcino)
Basic Breakfast, bathroom not so clean, absence of shampoo and shower gel, no hair dryer.. the TV screen is small. Siegsdorf is a really small village .. nothing special to do!
Close to highway Free parking Friendly people Exactly what you can expect for that price
A perfect hub to explore the upper Bavarian & Austrian surroundings even beyond Salzburg (not too far from the Autobahn). Great food with local dishes. Knowledgable owners to explain their "Heimat". A great must-see "Mammouth" museum within walking distance to dive into the ice-ages.
Siegsdorf is a village: don't expect any big-town services.
