The view of the hotel is superb. the staff is so slow n no good at all. It took 20 mins for the staff to give me menu n i was not satisfied. i complaint to the owner but he just didnt entertain me & dont even apologize! this is totally unacceptable! there is more better hotel /guesthouse better than Hanselwirt & its cheaper. |

I loved the location and proximity to the neuschwanstein castle. The walk was about 20 minutes and beautiful. I prefer the bed not to be so soft. I woke up with a backache. |

Excelent Location to visit the castles within reasonable budget.(Taxi costed only 10 euros from this hotel to ticket center.) Clean enough and better breakfast than expected. Most recommendable for tourists who prefer single rooms. In case you arrive at the hotel later than required time, you need contact to the hotel. / Over the phone they are not so friendly as by face./ All rooms are strictly non smoking and the hotel entrance is locked during night. You will have no chance to smoke during nights. |

The room was clean and well maintained. The restaurant had many choices for dinner, and the food was excellent. Everyone should try dinner on the terrace. Breakfast was typical for a small, German hotel -- very good though. Convenient location. I definitely recommend this property. One real complaint: the beds were not very comfortable and you could feel the springs through the mattress. A couple of minor "issues": My room was very hot since I only had windows on one wall & no cross-ventilation (The temperatures in southern Germany were very hot this week -- highs >30). The room was a bit small, but about the size that I expected for this price. |

The whole room, but especially the bathroom. It was large enough for us to move around in. I also liked that there was a window to allow natural light in. The gummi bears each day were a wonderful treat. That they seemed upset with us for not arriving earlier in the evening and that we hadn't called. We weren't able to find the hotel, and the website doesn't offer directions or a map. We spent alot of time "looking for the hotel (almost 45 minutes)," and finally had to stop and ask some people at a restaurant where it was. We had believed the hotel to be on the main road in town; in fact, it was a block off of the main road. |

Very nice hotel with a good restaurant. Our best room was nicely furnished, bright and spacious. The other was smaller but still good. Convenient location for castles and for mountain drives. They forgot to clean one of the rooms one day. |

Everything at the Hotel is nice and clean. Very personalized service. The Restaurant has good food, and a great view from the roof terrace. Staff is very hardworking and friendly. The room had a bit of a low ceiling, wich made the shower a bit uncomfortable for tall people. Bathroom is also a bit small. Though it is nothing to make an issue out of. We would deffinately go there again. |

The hotel was in a quiet location with public transportation nearby. They also provided nice toiletries which seems to be not common with small hotels in Europe. Because the ground floor is a restaurant, the smell of food lingered in the 1st floor. |
