A nice stop-over hotel on the way to Austria for skiing. Good rooms, good breakfast in a nice setting, helpfull and friendly staff, reasonable priced

Stayed here in the end of August 2012. Location is really perfect, close to Salzburg and Konigssee but 20-30 km aside with view to wonderful ravine with wood. Location suits to everybody who want to see the Oberbayern and to those who are on business trip to Salzburg but not interested to stay in town hotels. Rooms are big with small wooden balcony. Clean. Blankets are perfect. Bathroom is clean but no shower gel or shampoo, just liquid soap. Bath tub but no curtain or some glass to protect the whole bathroom from water when you take a shower. Towels are perfectly clean but a little but too thin and small. Breakfast is served not early (since 08.00 A.M.) which is strange for a village hotel, normally they start earlier. Choices are ok, but not really enormous as it can happened in other Gasthaus in Germany. All in all will find something to eat but you have not got a real feeling of staying at friend's home if you understand what I mean. Could recommend this hotel (guest house) but would not persist if you decide to prefer some other. No shower gel and shampoo. Breakfast starts too late.

The rooms are very basic but it is a budget hotel. It is family run and what the rooms lack is made up by the staff and mainly the food. The restaurant serves excellent Bavarian food. Be aware the portions are huge. The breakfast is very nice as well. Really a great value for your money. The location is nothing for night owls but it is perfect for discovering the beauty of the Berchtnersgardner Land and Salzburg. Very slow internet and no internet in rooms. Bathrooms are tiny.

I was disappointed when I was checking out to find out that I was not charged what was shown on the reservation. I made 8 reservations with you--on this one it only showed up as two people--one in each room. So, they insisted on charging me for three extra people--the five I thought I had registered. I was not expecting to pay the extra $120. I am not sure why your website changed my input from five people to two people. Other than that it was a nice place. Jeff Ehlers

The food at the restaurant was excellent and the location was great for hiking directly from the hotel. The sauna was not working, but didn't report this to the front desk as it didn't seem that the front desk person spoke enough English to help.

Durchweg sehr freundliches Personal. Gemütlicher Frühstücksraum mit herrlichem Blick über die Weißbachschlucht. Behaglich eingerichtetes Zimmer. Trotz der direkten Lage an der Landstraße überall sehr ruhig. Ein etwas zeitgemäßer Fernseher wäre angenehm gewesen, zumindest eine Fernbedienung.

Всё замечательно, пожили в альпах, как в сказке. Отличные номера, отличный ресторан! Тишина, природа просто супер. Терминал на ресепшене никак не читал наши карты, пришлось отдать нал. Хотя больше нигде в европе с банковскими картами проблем небыло!

Sehr freundlich und bemüht um den Gast. Hunde freundlich keinerlei Probleme. Halbpension ist zu empfehlen da das Menü sehr gut war. Gerne wieder.

Prachtige natuur. Uitstekende keuken. Vriendelijk, correct en behulpzaam personeel. Mogelijkheid te wisselen tussen à la carte en half pension, zoals het je uitkomt. Goed verzorgde kamers, onmiddellijk beschikbaar bij aankomst. Een aanrader voor zij die de streek en de bergen willen bezoeken en ook voor hen die op doorreis zijn vanuit de lage landen.

Mooi gelegen hotelletje in een prachtige omgeving . Ideaal voor wandelaars en natuurliefhebbers . Vriendelijk personeel en goede, degelijke keuken . Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt . Gratis WiFi ! . Na enig aandringen mochten onze motoren zelfs in de privégarage . Na 9 uur muisstil en dus niets meer te beleven !!!

Es haben uns besonders das freundliche Personal und das reichhaltig gute Frühstück gefallen. Wir hatten ein superior Zimmer bestellt und uns darunter eine bessere Badeinrichtung sowie ein besssers Bett vorgestellt. Wir mussten in die hohe Wanne steigen, leider für ältere Leute nicht immer geragde günstig. Die Matratzen waren auch durchgelegen und in der ersten Nacht war sogar das Lattenrost verkehrt eingelegt. Unglücklich gelaufen!

Alles was prima in orde, heerlijke vakantie gehad in het hotel. Goed gegeten heerlijk. Centrale ligging voor uitstapjes ook goed. Dat er geen andere taal dan Duits gesproken wordt.
