not far from munich and fussen
sound insulation is not that good as you can hear the car sound from outside
unfriendly hostess no wifi connection in the rooms
Good location Good and easy parking Good and plentiful self service breakfasts
The hotel was far from welcoming, must have had a stressful day? I'm afraid it continued that way, with supper being served aggressively, not only to us. Much to be desired in the way of the food, but I do not forget we are from another culture, but still-------Worst on our trip of 4 weeks
Noisy road near by
Friendly stuff , good breakfast
amazing food at restaurant, Schweinesnitzel (or how it's called) that was melting in mouth, good local beer, whole hotel in Bavarian style, really climatic, rooms and bathrooms are a bit outdated, but great enough for one night
We got two rooms that were closest to the mainroad and that was the problem. Windows were old and didn't limit traffic noise in sufficient way. It was worst in single room in the corner of the building.
Easy to find and clean.
Too near a busy road. Staff did not speak very good English. The coffee maker did not work. It was taken away but not replaced.
Nice room, breakfast and balcony with flowers.
The advertised check in time is 1.00pm. We arrived at 2.15pm and nobody answered the door. We went across the road to the bank. They kndly rang the hotel and were advised that the hotel would not open their doors until 4.00pm. They need to urgently change their check in time to what it really is - mind you, 4.00pm is too late to be checking in.
Room was clean, but out dated. Breakfast: extensive choice. Location: easy to find. Roll down shutter.
Hygiene ? Cat walks around in restaurant. Food wasn't tastefull. Breakfast room and restaurant are huge, so not very cosy.
Good location. Spacious rooms
Pillow was quite airy
The receptionist (I think he owned the place) was very friendly and helpful on check in. We had a superior room that was massive. The room was also very clean with a comfortable bed, and there was even a coffee maker that made decent coffee. We were travelling the Romantische Straße and this was a convenient stop along the way. I'd be happy to stay here again, and I think it is good value.
The language barrier was a bit of an issue as not much English was spoken but in our mix of limited German and the hosts English we got through. The wait staff in the hotel restaurant weren't the most friendly but the food was good and quite cheap.
We stayed here as accommodation in Augsburg was booked out a such short notice. Pillows were better suited for our comfort then most accommodation places throughout Europe. Shower delivered continuous hot water.
We had dinner at the hotel, schnitzel was tough and lettuce was slimy and brown. Would not recommend eating there for lunch/dinner. Breakfast was very limited and toaster did not work.
No internet...expensive compared to similar places Nothing around location to see or do
Location and very german traditional
