This traditional, family-run guesthouse features a butcher’s shop and an attractive beer garden. It is in the Bavarian town of Arrach, in the Bavarian Forest. Quite cheap accomodation, which is frequently visited by elderly people. I have spoken to the owner personally because of the absolute worn mattress. Unlikely, that he is willing to change them.

Rundherum ein schöner Urlaub. Freundliche und sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer könnte mal ein Facelift gebrauchen.

-ausgesprochen freundliche, familiäre Atmosphäre, -wunderbare, geschmackvolle Küche, egal ob Brotzeit oder deftige bayrische Küche, -höfliche, sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung -sehr saubere ordentlich eingerichtete Zimmer, sehr gutes Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis Es gab für uns Nichts zu bemängeln.

Wir haben nur unsere Zimmer und das reichlich wohl sortierte Frühstücksbüffet in Anspruch genommen. Das war alles ok und dem Komfort den wir von anderen Herbergen im Bayr. Wald kennen gleichkommend. Wir können den Gasthof Meindl nur weiterempfehlen nicht gefallen ist der falsche Ausdruck. Wir hatten nur Probleme mit der Sendereinstellung des TV-Gerätes - war aber für uns so unwichtig, dass wir immer wieder vergaßen den Wirt darauf anzusprechen.

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die Hilfsbereitschaft. Der Umgang mit den Gästen, man wurde sofort wie ein Stammgast behandelt Die Nachtruhe war durch den Betrieb der angeschlosssenen Metzgerei um 6 Uhr zu Ende.

Superservice, Freundlichkeit, gutes Essen und richtiges Preis- Leistungsverhältnis; das hat uns überzeugt und wir 4 Tiroler waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal in diesem Gasthof. Außerdem sind in der Umgebung sehr schöne Wander- und Motorrad-Routen.

Das Essen! Großartig, streckenweise Sterne.Qualität, dann aber wieder seltsame Salate (Kartoffelsalat, Wurstsalat etc,) als Angebot zum Rinderfilet..., aber reichhaltig, sehr schmackhaft und preisgünstig! Nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, teils bei Andrang überfordert. Zimmerausstattung teils Fünfziger Jahre, sehr kärglich und Spermüllig, teils modern - auf jeden Fall spartanisch Versprochenes W.Lan ging im Zimmer nicht, nur im Gastraum der Gaststätte.
