Gasthof Rebstock    

I spent 1 night in room for 3 people, which included bathroom, TV and breakfast. Room was clean but not so big. The staff was nice and helpful. It wasn't any problem to speak in English. It was really close to the city centre and to the Bodensee. There was also parking place in the yard.

We got the password to the internet, but we couldn't connect with it.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk from train station, I think about 5 mins to the Constance Lake. Would stay again.

Very cosy and friendly, convenient parking, no problems with wifi, good breakfast, excellent food in the Gasthof's restaurant (and it works even when all other restaurants in the city are closed). Good price. Check-in is possible till 23:00.

Bathroom's door doesn't have a lock, and it can be uncomfortable if you're not travelling alone.

Our best experience during our month in Germany. Professional, friendly, competent, and a great ambiance in their restaurant which served the greatest varieties of foods and a great morning breakfasts. Local people came in here for afternoons and evenings as well which made us feel at home. Rooms were very clean - cleaning staff was exceptional. A family-run business which made us feel like family after only one day. We were slightly sad on check-out day and truly look forward to visiting with them again.

convenience to airport and railway station and helpful staff

It is a very friendly, family-owned and run place. Excellent food, not gourmet but solid 'hausmannskost'. Good if somewhat smallish rooms, very good ensuites, very clean, parking on the premises. For the low price it is excellent value. Location is also quite good, close to the city.

If one arrives late parking can be a problem.

Staff in the restaurant, and price of food & drinks, were wonderful. Ample space in (free) carpark. Very good breakfast buffet.

No elevator available and hauling our bags to 4th floor was less pleasant. Planes (regional type) flew directly overhead, landing on nearby airport, but they don't fly at night.

This is quite central to Friedrichshaven. The hotel has a very friendly restaurant and bar with an extensive reasonably priced menu. There seemed to be lots of locals using it and it made for a very good atmosphere. Room spotless and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free internet in room.

No lift

Good location, 15 min by walk from the lake. The triple room was clean and spacious. Free parking and Wifi. Personal is helpful.

The towels in the bathrooms were awful: old and threadbare! The breakfast was poor. No elevator.

The shower was brilliant

The bed sheets had holes in them and we asked for them to be changed, which they were. The towels had seen better days. The weather was very hot and there is no air con.

Only in transit one night with our 14 yr old son and found the stay very pleasant ,very short walk to the lakeside and lots of restaurants. Breakfast was good and staff were very helpful

The room was clean, tidy and the bed comfortable. The choice of food and dining facilities were fine. Breakfast was up to the usual good German standard.

Noise at night in the yard behind the hotel. The the shower room and toilet were clean and new but cramped.

Staff is not friendly

Good location, close to the Bodensee and the train/bus stations. The restaurant on premises is excellent, we ate there 3 times.

In the main/restaurant building there are stairs, maybe 2 flights. Not real sure about the sheet/towel changing daily or not. We were there 5 days.

Together with my fiancee and my parents, I was cycling around Lake Constance for 5 days and our first night's accommodation was at Gasthof Rebstock. We were warmly welcomed, our bicycles were accommodated in their own lockable garage, our bedrooms were basic but clean and simple and suited our smaller budget. The beer garden although being next to the road was gorgeous in the dappled sunlight and the food was hearty and delicious (just what we needed after a long day's cycle). Breakfast was again a lovely occasion, served in the breakfast room as part of a continental buffet. Would recommend to others as a cheap and cheerful option.

A bit close to a heavily trafficked road, which meant there was quite a lot of noise. But you get what you pay for I guess.

Owner was not so friendly but other people yes ! Bathroom extremly small!

Our room was on the main road which was a bit noisy.

The people were nice in the hotel. The free off road parking was great. Free wifi. Nice, clean room. Good breakfast.

No lift and we were at the top of the building with heavy bags, also no air conditioning.

The staff was extremely helpful (rescued us from our errant gps when we got lost, by coming to meet us at a location described to them on the telephone)
