Zell also makes the ideal base for short or long hikes in and around the Fichtel Mountains. Here you will find the original source of the River Saale as well as Waldstein Mountain with its castle ruins, a beautiful look-out point as well as the Bärenfang building, formerly used for catching bears. The peaceful surrounding area is also suitable for relaxing strolls in summer and through the snowy winter wonderland.

Very kind personal. Clean and excelent breakfast +++++. Perfect as a stopover on the way down to Europe. Maybe that is was a little tricky to find. |

Die Freundlichkeit bei Ankunft, das ausgesprochen leckere Frühstück, incl.sehr gutem Kaffee. Dass es sich um einen Familienbetrieb handelt und natürlich das tolle Preis - Leistungsverhältnis. Wir werden hier mit Sicherheit noch einmal mit unserer Tochter zusammen übernachten. Wir konnten auf unserem Zimmer nur 5 Fernsehsender empfangen, das war aber nicht sooo schlimm, wir konnten uns auch anders beschäftigen. |
