I wanted to visit Colditz. So I found the Roter Hirsch quite by chance. Whay a find ! It is everything a small village pub ought to be and seldom is. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are more than adequate. Excellent showers etc, Excellent food. Rather good beer! Have been back since and will go there again. P.S. Cp;ditz is 20 min. away and well worth the 15 Euros tour. It's a long day's trip from Dunquerque, but is motorway all the way. We made it back in 8 1/2 hours.

A very nice small hotel. The chap running it was very friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The evening meal we had at the hotel was one of the best we had on our trip. A truly good place to stay in a relaxing atmosphere.

The owner was very helpful and also presented interesting history of that place. The drinks and food were very delicous with reasonable price! Very good place to visit Augstusburg motorbike museum and castle.

propreté malgré vetusté du site, aucune odeur de cigarettes malgré les comentaires d'autres visiteurs, on y mange très bien, j'y retournerai avec plaisir, un hotel de passage-qualité prix au top czysto i tanio czego wiecej trzeba, spanie wygodne, lazienka ok

Der Preis. Wir sind am 20. September angekommen. Die Heizung war in den Zimmern nicht an, obwohl es abends draußen schon ganz schön kalt war. Im Zimmer war es aber leider noch viel kälter als draußen! Eine Zusatzdecke gab es nicht, das Personal hat das Hotel um 23 Uhr verlassen, es gab also nach dieser Zeit keine Chance eine Decke zu besorgen. So haben wir die Halbe Nacht nicht einschlafen können. Am 21.09. waren draußen, morgens um 9 Uhr, nur 7 Grad, dennoch war ein gutes Gefühl, das eisige Zimmer zu verlassen. Für die zweite Übernachtung haben wir uns dann rechtzeitig eine Zusatzdecke besorgt und uns nicht ausgezogen um zu Bett zu gehen sondern angezogen..... Die zweite unangenehme Überraschung war die Entfernung des Hotels von Chemnitz - mit einer knapp 20 - minütiger Fahrt angegeben, was gar nicht stimmte ! - bzw. die endlosen Umleitungen, die auch unseres Navigationsgerät völlig verwirrt haben. Wäre nicht eine hilfsbereite Anwohnerin so herzig gewesen uns über "Berge und Täler" ins Dorf zu führen, hätten wir das Hotel Roten Hirsch vielleicht nie gefunden! Rat: gehen Sie nur im Sommer oder Winter dahin und versuchen Sie beim Tageslicht anzukommen!

Очень гостеприимные хозяева создают неповторимую атмосферу уюта. Тишина и спокойствие маленького городка настраивают на особый лад. Из под уютных перин не хочется вылезать :-)

Die Pension machte von außen her einen netten Eindruck. Auf keinen Fall ist diese aber weiterzuempfehlen wenn man mit dem Hund anreist. Man bekommt ein, lt. Mitarbeiterin`Hundezimmer`zugewiesen, wo seit mehr als dreißig Jahren nichts mehr gemacht wurde. Abgesehen von den zahlreichen dicken Spinnen im Zimmer, wurde man von allergischen Reaktionen begleitet. Alle Zimmer sind als Nichtraucherzimmer ausgewiesen, aber der gestank nach kaltem Rauch ist unerträglich, abgesehen von anderen Düften konnte man froh sein das man zwei Fenster( einfach verglast) hatte zum lüften. Das Frühstück fiel sehr dürftig aus, was wohl vorher scheinbar abgezählt wurde. Ein Hotel zum abgewöhnen!

Najbardziej podobała nam się cisza :). Hotelik jest na uboczu w niewielkiej wsi, więc można odpocząć w nim od zgiełku. Wybraliśmy pokój dla niepalących, ale niestety wszystko w tym pokoju śmierdziało papierosami. Dodatkowo pokój był na poddaszu z jednym niewielkim oknem, co uniemożliwiało wywietrzenie go z okropnego zapachu...

Wunderschöne Lage,nette sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter,Chef sowieso,der uns am abend noch inkl.Festsaal alles zeigte.Die Historie dieses Hauses sollte auch erwähnt werden.Gemütlich,bodenständig,gutes Essen und vor allem ruhig gelegen.Zimmer auch sehr günstig!Wer nicht unbedingt auf jeglichen Schnick-Schnack steht,der ist dort auf jeden Fall gut aufgehoben.Hoffe der Chef kann noch alles verwirklichen,was in Sachen Weiterrenovierung noch auf ihn zukommt und wünschen ihm alles Gute dabei,weiter so,wäre schade um dieses schöne Haus!!

Unser Zimmer war extrem hellhörig und dunkel. Die Gastronomie lässt Wünsche offen, zum Frühstück gab es Aufbackbrötchen, obwohl der Bäcker ca. 200 m entfernt, die Speisen im Lokal zu teuer und zeugen nicht von großer Kochkunst.

Essen war gut bürgerlich Öffnungszeiten sind unterirdisch Gasthof hat ab 11.00 Uhr geöffnet. Sonntags von 11 - 15 Uhr, wer später kommt bekommt nichts zu essen.

Die Lage des Gasthofes hat mir persönlich sehr gut gefallen. Es war nicht laut und es sind nur 15 Minuten Autofahrt bis nach Chemnitz. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, die Zimmer sauber und voll ausgestattet. Alles was man für einen Kurzurlaub braucht.
