“ Stuff were very nice specially a woman in the restaurant. She was very friendly, very nice. When we left hotel we left small bag downstairs with our passports and 7300-7500 euro. We were in Wurzburg when we Found that we left it . I called them several times they were very helpful. They found and sent it with a taxi without touching money. We really recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Volkach. ”

Set in a historic timber framed building, the family run Behringer Hotel lies on the market square in the pretty town of Volkach. It offers a sun terrace, a restaurant, and a wine and beer garden. All rooms feature free Wi Fi, a flat screen TV, minibar and a private bathroom. Soft lighting and a warm colour scheme give each one a homelike feel. Regional wines and seasonal Frankish cuisine are served in the Marktblickstube restaurant, and a rich buffet breakfast featuring home made jam and regional products is also provided. After a long day, guests can relax with a drink in the rustic style lounge with wooden floors and a tiled stove. Rental canoes are available on the Main River embankment, which is just 500 metres from the hotel. Parking is available a 2 minute walk from the hotel, and there is a bicycle garage on site which can be used for free. Stuff were very nice specially a woman in the restaurant. She was very friendly, very nice. When we left hotel we left small bag downstairs with our passports and 7300-7500 euro. Hotel Behringer is fantastic!! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The location is great - right in front of the city hall. The room was comfy, the bathroom was clean and very large for a German hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! There is no elevator - though this is typical for a German hotel.

wunderbare, ruhige Lage am historischen Marktplatz. Stilvoll renovierte gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Familiäres Wohlfühlambiente. Das angeschlossene "Freilicht Restaurant" (glasüberdachter Innenhof) bietet sehr gute Speisen fränkisch, regional und eine ausgewogene Weinkarte.

Die Freundlichkeit und Verbindlichkeit der Bedienungsdame im gemütlichen Frühstücksraum und dergleichen ,des Inhaber-Ehepaares dass das Hotel infolge Winterferien auf Sparflamme lief,d.h.das Restaurant war geschlossen.

Fremragende beliggenhed på byens torv. Charmerende historisk bygning og idylliske omgivelser og overmåde imødekommende og venlig betjening. Rene og velfungerende værelser, men uinspireret standardindretning.

Hat eigentlich alles gepasst. Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht! Im Sommer kann es ev. etwas laut sein, wenn die Fenster offen sind und in den Lokalitäten nebenan noch Betrieb ist. Aber dann darf man keine zentrale Lage wählen. Also, es passt.

Hotellet ligger midt i byen, så der er 'liv' omkring hotellet. Ok morgenbuffe - Manglede en opholdsstue om aften, hvor man kunne få kaffe, spille kort o.a.. Den der var der, var lukket om aften.

die Ruhe im Hotel und im Städtchen Bin ca. 22 Uhr angekommen; hatte großen Hunger. Im Städtchen war keine Gaststätte zu finden, die noch Essen angeboten hat um diese "späte" Stunde. So musste ich bis zum Frühstück warten. Wäre schön, wenn das Hotel für solche Zwecke eine Kleinigkeit zum Essen bereitstellen könnte: z.B. eine fränkische Brotzeit.

Wir konnten uns unser Zimmer aussuchen,es war sehr gemütlich. Die Lage war perfekt,der Frühstücksraum war sehr ansprechend und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Wir würden sofort wieder hinfahren.

Nice hotel in the middle of this little town. They have this nice restaurant across the road in a wintergarden style, good food at reasonable prices and excellent staff. Volkach is a nice little winetown with wine shops, tasting places and small restaurants. It's probably good for renting a bike to cruise the small wine towns around. I believe that the hotel was resnting out bikes as well. My room was on the 3rd floor, so a few steps to climb. The room was spacious but the bathroom was a little small. It's under the roof, so a little warm is Summer. They have a few parking place which are one block away (only 3 spaces, so you need to book in advance).
