Great food , hotel is on a lively street at night
nice facility in the heart of town
we never asked for the wi-fi password and it isn't in the rooms. putting n/a on the review isn't an option.
Unfriendly and unhelpful staff
Great location and large rooms with a first class breakfast spread.
Never was able to get the wifi to work
Location Breakfast Quality/ price
The staff were hospitable, friendly and professional. Food served in the restaurant was tasty and portions were generous. The room was clean, tidy and the beds were comfortable.
The bathroom was outdated and the floor plan was a bit odd (not very functional). Fridge and heater were a bit noisy. No couch in the living room. Only a dining table with chairs.
Loved the charm 3 adults and one child. We had plenty of room for all. Breakfast was good
Although the church across the street was beautiful, for a light sleeper, this made for very long nights and tired days.
Staff and restaurant is great! Interesting location in the beutiful old building. Good for walks.
It is impossible to live in the apartments where all required things are absent or broken!! My mom has a special diet, therefore we always book apartments with a kitchen. Ok, kitchen is present, but the cooker does not work! Absolutely! Also there were no tableware at all - no cup, no plate, no kettle, etc.! And, btw, my mom is not a girl and every time when she wants to drink a cup of tea she can't go to the restaurant when we live on the 3th floor and the building has no lift! Ramshackle furniture: wooden kitchen sofa without cushions, broken bed, large squeaking wardrobe with 4 clothes (!!!) only (some of them - hand-made, from wire!!), broken curtain holders, no upright bolt in the bath-room/WC (!!!) and no keys for rooms at all! Internet works only near the entrance door! All these things arouse indignation! It is cheap hostel, not normal hotel! Welcome to 1960th!
That there was just one shared bathroom for 3 separate rooms appartment and no soap or shower gel.
Staff was not friendly, WIFI didn't worked as signal was very poor in the room, very noisy in the night so unable to sleep, bathroom was not clean, facilities not provided in comparison to charge
The location was very convenient to visit many attractions. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was outstanding.
Had to deal with the European shower.
The location in Partenkirchen is excellent. The rooms are basic and some share bathrooms The restaurant is good, portions are huge and breakfast is good.
Great location in the centre of town.
The small "kitchen" in the room was not nice. There were not many kitchen appliances and some left-overs was found in the freezer. Church bell just outside the window woke us up in the morning.
The church bells that rang all night and at 6 am they rang continues for at least 5 minutes. Staff was not helpful at all.
No shower. Beds were not comfortable and bathroom window did not open.
Great location and breakfast Spacious room. Reasonable parking
There is no elevator so taking bags to 3rd floor was challenging Aware of extra bed charge for 5th person but not told until time to pay bill that we had to pay an extra 9 euro a day for breakfast for 5 th person. Floors were stained and room was not vacuumed during 4 day stay Staff was not helpful or available. Spoke only with restaurant staff. Booked room because it was an "apartment" for our family of 5 but refrigerator and stove did not work. Internet was inconsistently available.
The food in the restaurant was decent, classic bavarian cuisine. Many locals turned out to eat there at the weekend. The hotel has a prime location.
The room was pricey and with outdated 70ies interior. The staff seem completely indifferent to their jobs. All in all too expensive.
Wi-fi , church bells rang all night. No drinking glasses in room. All the smokers would stand outside this door just under our only window and talk. So we got the smoke and noise.
Free concert in their theatre one evening. Television screen the size of which you wouldn't see in Times Square, for World Cup matches. Food in the restaurant is FAB. You can get a beer at anytime.
Rooms are a bit 1970s.
Good location, suitable for families
Poor wifi, condition of bathroom and "kitchen" equipment
Location. Central to walking around the old part of town. Lovely meal in the evening.
Clean neat and great social venue. During summer tables outside and good traditional Bavarian food. staff are friendly and helpful
Nothing wrong at all
the view from the balcony is awesome and the food too !! the neighbourhood is also classic
the ventilation system in the bathroom should be improved
Great atmosphere, breakfast, and rooms! Definitely would stay here again.
The location of this place was great, as it is located in the lovely historic area near many restaurants and cafés right out the front door! We stayed in one of the apartments, which also was very large for the price.
The only complaints I have are the wifi, which to us was a necessity as we were traveling on to other places and making plans. The only place we could get the wifi to work was sitting at a small table in the hallway of the lobby of the restaurant..not convenient at all! Secondly, when booking our reservations, I mentioned that having a room with a beautiful view would be nice. They accommodated this, but charged extra for this. After paying extra, we did have a beautiful view with a balcony, but the divider of the balcony giving privacy between our place and the next had been broken and not repaired, so even though we paid extra, we still couldn't sleep with the doors and curtains open, because we were basically sharing the balcony with another couple and had no privacy! I would stay here again due to the location and value for your money, but I do hope they get these issues fixed before then!
