This family-run hotel features an on-site bowling alley, free parking and a children’s playground. Gasthof zur Post Hotel is located in the rural Sauerland area, surrounded by scenic countryside. The quiet bedrooms are individually decorated and come with a TV and a wardrobe. The en-suite bathrooms have a WC, a shower or bath, and a hairdryer is provided. A hearty breakfast is served daily in the dining area. The à la carte restaurant serves seasonal dishes, local specialities, and home-made pizzas. A traditional beer garden is located outside the restaurant. The Hagen-Westphalian Open Air Museum is just 5 km away and a 6-minute drive leads to the Hasper Talsperre Lake. The town of Wuppertal is 34 km from Gasthof zur Post Hotel. The A45 motorway is a 12-minute drive away and connects to Dortmund or Frankfurt am Main. Nach Intervention wurde uns ein besseres Zimmer / Appartment angeboten. Das erste Zimmer/Appartment war eine Zumutung. Möbel wie aus einer Wohnungsauflösung, chaotisch unfunktionell aufgestellt, Kopfseite des Bettes unter Drempel mit zu geringer Kopffreiheit. Etwas muffliges Personal - naja, vielleicht der Menschenschlag hier.

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal und eine sensationelle und leckere Küche. Zimmer sehr sauber inkl. ein leckeres Frühstück, sehr gern wieder Nichts, hier passt alles:-)

Zeer ruime kamer Bijzonder vriedelijk personeel Ligt aan en mooie doorreisroute naar/door Sauerland Restaurant in de buurt Maandag is Gasthaus gesloten waardoor er niet van de keuken/bar enz gebruik gemaakt kan worden.

Super nett und hilfsbereit. Sehr ruhige Lage, trotzdem von Hagen aus (z.B. Fachhochschule) mit dem Auto in ein paar Minuten gut zu erreichen. Sehr gerne wieder :).
