This family-run hotel is located in the heart of Lauingen, not far from the left bank of the River Danube, in the Swabian part of Bavaria. The Genießerhotel Lodner is a beautiful 19th century building, which has been restored to provide guests with all imaginable modern comforts. Zentrale Lage. Hervorragendes Speisenangebot - eben Genießerhotel. Es gab - wie angeboten - kein reichhaltiges Frühsrücksbuffet. Aber das servierte Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Zimmer waren eher mittelmäßig.

Das Hotel und seine Mitarbeiter bzw. Inhaber sind eine Perle in einer doch nicht sehr lohnenden städtischen Umgebung. Das Restaurant ist unbedingt einen Besuch wert.

De kamers zijn zeer ruim, de badkamers iets minder; als te doen gebruikelijk in Duitsland is alles zeer schoon en fris. De keuken is werkelijk voortreffelijk; verrassend en met een zeer gunstige kwaliteits/prijs verhouding. De fam.Lodner voert een eigen merk kruiden, jams, zouten e.d., allemaal heel lekker; er verschijnt iets van op tafel, maar wordt niet opgedrongen. Erg belangrijk is de aandacht die de individuele gast krijgt: geen vraag blijft onbeantwoord, (vrijwel) geen wens blijft onvervuld. Chapeau!!, wij komen zeker terug. Wifi zou gratis mogen zijn.

Ganz besonders empfehlen kann ich das hoteleigene Restaurant! Das Entenbrustfilet war butterzart, das ganze Menü perfekt und raffiniert gewürzt, der Service exzellent - ich komme wieder!

Wij zijn erg gastvrij ontvangen. Nette kamers en goed ontbijt met veel keuze (verschillende broodjes, beleg en zoet). Er wordt een ei naar keuze voor je gemaakt. Je kunt ook yoghurt met müsli krijgen. Wij hebben ook het diner genomen en dit was goed. Verderop is een ijssalon en daar zijn we naar toe gewandeld. Er zijn wat kleine winkels op enkele minuten van het hotel. Een uitstekend adres om een dagje naar Legoland Duitsland te gaan ! Er zijn niet veel parkeerplekken, maar we konden de auto wel dichtbij parkeren.

It was conveniently located within walking distance to our family. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, especially the shower. But it is adequate.

Restaurant sehr gut ! Personal freundlich. Hotelzimmer etwas zu klein. Das Hotel Möhren direkt nebenan gehört auch dazu und ist viel schöner. Nächstes mal werde ich dort buchen.
