Location within the historic district was great. We had a wonderful apartment just several buildings down from the main hotel. The apartment was very nice and clean and staff was friendly. We had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs, but the apartment was worth it. |

The Buffet Breakfast was beautifully set - as well as tasty. Loved the canopy bedroom - small but very nice. |

Great location, for a quiet stay in Rothenburg. The room was quaint and cozy just as pictured on the website. Staff was very attentive. The foam based mattresses were a bit too firm. No shower curtain for the tub. |

The breakfast was fantastic. The position was wonderful, right in town. The parking was difficult and we never found the free parking. We parked in a small garage and when we went to leave someone else had parked us in. However, the hotel did not know whose car it was. Finally they had to get a tow truck in, jack up the offending car and move it out of the way so we could leave. Secondly the wireless lan supposed to be available throughout the hotel did not work in our room, so we had to take the computer downstairs every time we wanted to use it. Quite annoying. |

We liked the location of the hotel inside the city walls. "Upgrading" the room gave us a large, spacious room. Renewing the wireless connection every 24 hours. No lift, and having to drag our bags up and down stairs. |

the beautifuk building, the lighty rooms, the lovely decoration, the location (quiet), the garden and the possibility to have a drink there, the great choice at breakfast, the free availibilty of a pc to surf, the parking. Breakfast is perfectible: no AC in the room, items not refrigerated (fruits, cheese, yoghurts...) and despite a busy staff there were always basic items missing . The cleanliness of the shower could be improved. The rate for such small rooms and a friendly but not really professional service (kids involved in the family business). |

The staff at this hotel was unbelievably good. The room was clean and modern and the breakfast was great, but everything was overshadowed by the most important part - the staff. |

I loved the warm, welcoming family staff and how I was treated by them. My room was very clean and very private, and I felt totally secure. It was a great location and overall the best choice for a place to stay in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. |

Convenient location - only a few minutes walk to the centre of Rothenburg. Hotel was homely but rather basic. We stayed in a 3 person room but the single bed was very basic - not a proper bed. In my view the room was grossly overpriced. |

It was well located. Good breakfast. Nice garden. Friendly staff. The apt. we stayed in was very large and clean. More suitable for a family or someone staying longer than 2 nights. We were given a room a couple of blocks away from the main house and our family. This was a family vacation and we felt isolated from them which was not part of our plan. Also, it was rather warm at night and the apt. had no fan or a/c. Very nice bathroom other than the shower kept changing from hot to cold. Nice large tub, though. |

Excellent staff and a well maintained residence. The room was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outside garden. Being away from the center of town was also a plus. |

The big problem is I had booked a double room for the two of us and they gave me a single room. They said I had booked for only one person which was not correct. As a result, David and I had crammed quarters. |

Hotel Gerberhaus is wonderful. Owner and her staff are terrific. Breakfast is a treat. Rooms are charming and the hotel is in a quiet location. Delightful garden setting for drinks and meals is a bonus. Definitely would recommend. |

The hotel staff was great. We received a recommendation to eat on Wednesday evening at the Altfrankenhaus Weinstaub (sp.) and stumbled upon the famed English Conversation Club (ECC) featured in Rick Steves travel guide. It was one of the best and most interesting nights of my life. The hotel staff was super friendly ... we even shared a few Heffeweizen. |

This small, 3-star hotel in Rothenburg's medieval town centre offers bright rooms, a free breakfast buffet and a traditional café. Rothenburg's railway station is 900 metres away. |
In a picturesque location in this medieval town stands a customs house dating back to 1264. The rooms are individually and lovingly furnished in modern or antique style. |
There is hardly a town in Germany that is more charming and traditional than Rothenburg. |
This traditional and romantic hotel awaits you in the heart of the medieval town of Rothenburg. Within the hotel’s ancient walls, accommodation and hospitality have been offered since 1559. |
