GHOTEL hotel & living Kiel  

Good price, good breakfast & super clean. I have stayed multiple times here for those reasons & the location of it with business I have there. I recently choose to reside with the shared hallway bathroom and am quite pleased. The shared bathroom is cleaned often. They have upgraded or are starting to upgrade the T.V's in these rooms to modern and larger flat screens, a definate plus as the old small ones prior we're a joke. There is a new hotel being built in the area, we will see how the competition works out.

The Wi-Fi there is rediculous. Expensive with a all right connection speed! I tried a couple times and cannot bring myself to get it again. GHotel would be better off offering there own free Wi-Fi without going throuh a expensive contractor (Cloud Network?) It is not like internet is that expensive nowadays anymore, and so many people being "wired-up" these days makes it an attarctive ammenitiy. Hopefully (if) the Boss thats reads this can read english and do something about it as many others have complained before. This last time, the reception lady didn't speak very good english and was fustrated with me when I asked a question about paying up front as I have normally done the past 6-7 times I stayed there. I asked her if she had a problem with it as I didnt care either way, and she trolled her eyes and huffed, I do speak ok German so she could have at least tried that if English was so complicated for her. After surrending my Credit Card she told me to go to my room and she'd make the bill. After 15 minutes, (not sure why I had to leave as it is a 2 minute process to charge it) she came up to my room and finished the payment and aploigized, and told me her english is not good. At least that, maybe she should reconsider a new line of work not in Customer Service in a hotel.

Nice room, quiet, very nice staff, wonderful breakfast buffet and good location for our trip. Hotel has free wifi, but it is only for 30 minutes and in the lobby. Because we were going to be there so long (25 days), we bought 30 days, in room, for 39 euros. For us that was the best deal.

Comfortable space with separated living area. Quiet, very tidy and modern style.

Can be a bit difficult to find, if not driving instructions printed out from the website (as we did) or the hotel located on a GPS.

Very good service and comfortable roomto a good price.

You need a car to go to the city center.

No evening restaurant in the building - a long walk to the town

The breakfast buffet and service were excellent. I had the cheapest single room "with shared shower/WC in Hallway", which looked like it was going to be shared by 4 rooms. But in fact the room includes a water basin and there are 2 shower/WC, one for men and one for women. These are very clean and I never met anyone in the hallway. For transportation, the nearby bus-stop is very convenient. To go to the University on foot, turn left as you exit the hotel and find your way through little paths. The reception indicated to turn right, but it is a much longer route.

I booked this hotel one day before arrival. I chose it to have access to the free wi-fi in public areas, included in the booking. This was not available when I came. The hotel staff explained that the hotel had been trying but failed to install it in the past week (which means my booking was illegal)... I could use an internet-cafe room instead, but I had to get a key from the reception to have access and it was not convenient for me to use a german keyboard, so I did not use this facility after trying once.

Sehr großzügige Zimmer, insbesondere für Kiel sehr komfortabel. Die bisher beste Zimmerausstattung, die ich in drei verschiedenen 3 Sterne- Hotels in Kiel erlebt habe. Sehr ruhig! Weiterhin positiv: Ausreichende kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten am Hotel.

Hotel am ehesten für Autofahrer geeignet, ansonsten im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels etwas abgelegener.

Das sehr freundliche Personal. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels. Der Gratisparkplatz.

Das Frühstücksbüffet war großartig. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Das Frühstück ist mit 12 Euro pro Person recht teuer.

Stille og meget roligt , ingen støj selv om der var mange gæster. Vi vender meget gerne tilbage. Utrolig lækker morgemad`s buffet.

Måske nogle bedre dyner og puder, evt. Ekstra puder I garderobeskabet. Dynerne var sommerdyner, og kke egnet til vinter brug.
