Every thing was perfect

This apartment is hidden in a block of apartments rented by monthly tenants. Its difficult to find with no reception or any facilities one would expect

Good location. Spacious.

Various wires hanging from walls, broken bed (which someone came and fixed) towel rail hanging off wall, bathroom light switch missing, generally a very poor level of decor for such an expensive rate (£600+ for two days). I have stayed in more luxurious hostels. A little disappointing and far from the photos presented on the site.

Turkenstrasse 50 was in an incredibly good location, perfect for 8 friends needing a place to stay while attending their show at the Handwerke Messe. Facilities were basic, but we had everything we needed and had a good wi-fi connection. Beds were very comfortable.

The apartment could do with some maintenance to tidy it up. Roadside room gets a lot of noise drifting up from the restaurant below.

Cheap is the only good point of this hotel.

I hope my comments would still be useful to you as the company just delete this apartment entirely from their list in booking.com (from Feb till today 11 March 2013). If in case anyone can see this review, you should really consider twice before staying here. Price is cheap but you'll suffer a lot. I brought a kid and a almost 60 year old elderly with me to this trip in Munich. On the day when we arrived, we called the company as what they've instructed us in email, and we made an appointment to meet each other at 2 pm. But 2 pm was never a meeting time. Finally my kid and my senior waited for almost 30 mins before a Vietnamese guy came down casually from the building (obviously he's been there at least for 30 mins). He could not speak any English so it is super difficult for us to speak to him while it's impossible for us to speak German! What they told us in English was 'In Deutschland, no English, only German'. Then we found there's one lady still cleaning the house (which was really dirty), and there was no washing machine, the saucepan was broken and the kitchen was very far from well equipped (I cannot describe it as an equipped kitchen!). We wanted to tell the guy about it but his manner was very rude and asked us to leave the apartment because he said he still haven't finished cleaning it. We have a kid and an elderly, after waiting outdoor in such freezing weather, it's normal we just wanna settle. We rejected to leave the apartment then the guy very rudely and loudly commanded us 'check out now'. Yes, we could of course check out immediately when seeing so badly decorated, dirty (bathtub, curtain, bedsheet, kitchen and floor etc!) and how poorly equipped the apartment was. But unfortunately we paid everything in credit card, so we asked him to give us all the money back then we could leave, but he said no, just asked us all to check out! Finally I called booking.

It was the optimal choice - price, location, conditions. I recommend the appartment

good location BUT...

It was SO bad - no hot water or heating in minus 10 degree temperatures for 3 days, and smelled of cat piss - you need to take them off your recommended list - the other 2 bookings with you on this trip were great, as usual (Berlin and Nazare, Portugal).

apartment 101 is right above a bar that plays very loud music until 2am. Very loud and hard to sleep. The staff to let us in were nearly an hour late and kept making ridiculous excuses for not being on time. Very poor customer service. I will not stay here again.

Easy to find, good value for money, nice and big apartment, very close to the U-Bahn

The location was perfect right next to the main station.It was good value in an event week and all the facilities were pretty good .. beds comfortable. The block is mostly privately owned so it is well looked after and secure

I was in room 313. If you get this the shower riser rail is broken off and it is not possible to shower properly. If you get this appt check if I have managed to get it repaired .. it was still down when I left after a week.

Excellent sized rooms, easy key pick up and drop off fantastic value for money

Its a tad tired and shabby in places, but what Doyle would expect for the price. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay

I would consider another apartment, just not one over a bar.

I would not recommend this apartment to anyone who is trying to sleep before 2:00 am. We had small children with us and did not know our apartment would be over a bar. The music was so loud that sleep was impossible. Parking was also expensive and a distance away from our place.

Very good location if arriving/departing by train.

Dirty, broken furniture, insufficient dishes in kitchenette, mold in bathroom and poorly designed bathroom, pillows smelled of sweat.

Location was close to the train station but after booking through booking.com they tried to move me to a more distant location. I had to call twice to get the apartment originally booked.

Everything - linens (bed and bath) were filthy; location is across the street from a strip club and all the ladies of the evening and their customers hang around in front of the apartment making lots of noise until 3am. Company did not answer the phone when I called to let them know I had arrived; I had to e-mail to have someone meet me. He was late and just wanted to get in and out in a hurry - could not be bothered to provide anything other than minimal information about the apartment.

Excelent location, just a couple of block away from the main square

For those travellers, keep in mind that when renting an apartment no one can give you the attention of a front desk (asking for directions, recommendations... a map). The person who gave me the keys didn´t speak a word of english! consider it.

The apartement is just over a discothèque and on week-end it is so noisy that we could not sleep. The inside need to be refresh, paint is a must. 1 bathroom is not enough for 6 persons. It is a long walk to go downtown

It was cheap

It wa listed as 1-8 people and is clearly an apartment for 6. In fact the landlord told us there were too many of us to stay when we arrived and only changed his tune when I showed him the ad for 8 people. He then told us two people can squeeze onto the couch. The internet only worked for about 30mins over 4 days, the kitchen was VERY basic, the shower barely worked and the door was unmarked so it was difficult to find (all floors looked the same) The apartment could have been cleaner too (clearly noone had cleaned under the couch etc)

Some 100 meters from U&S-bahn, but still relatively quiet. Kitchen equipment was ok (incl. Electric kettle, toaster). Internet worked ok.

The room was somewhat damp on arrival, which resulted in unpleasent smell of bed linien. The sink was partially clogged. Just one wardrobe, featuring one shelf and stick for hangers (no way to unpack your clothes, really). Really small room, hardly any place to move. Lots of trash on the balcony.

The position near the train station and the city center

The owner of the apartment didn't speak english so it was very difficult to understand what he was saying. The frame of the bed was broken so it was very difficult to sleep. The photo in the web city was very different from the real situation. The room wasn't clean very well and the balcony was dirty and there was a lot of mess on it. The building was run-down. There was a lift but it was incredibly dirty.

An excellent location - three to five minutes walking distance to Karlsplatz and five to eight minutes to the City Hall (Marienplatz).

1. We failed to get Internet connection despite WiFi was in order. Seems that Internet is banned. 2. The room is quite clean, but the balcony ... Well, there used to be a pigeon's nest on it with birds 'coming and going' and trying go get in. 3. The chap who provided us with keys does not speak English completely. If you have no idea of German, the languages of gestures will be the only alternative.

Great location, Cafe Puck opposite good for breakfast and large supermarket virtually next door. A good base for the city. Our 2 bed apartment was spacious. 1 room had double and bunks and the other 2 singles and sofa bed. Furnishing is basic but a large group may be happy with this as a crash pad. The kitchen and bathroom are simple, basic, a bit grubby - more student digs than executive apartment. For good value, spacious accommodation probably hard to beat.

It's in the middle of a very nice "student" neighborhood, close to museums, university, inner city and lots of nice shops and restaurants.

It was dirty and smelly, doubting if the sheets were fresh and hair in the bathtub and unclean cups etc. Lots of dust behind and under the beds. It's also very noisy, because it's on top of a Sausolitos bar, which means party all night long. Since air-ventilation is only possible though the double glass windows, one is forced to leave them opened. Reception was very poor and unfriendly, by a Vietnamese that hardly spoke any language and who was very unhelpful and unkind and demanded cash payment and forced me to give my creditcard number when I said I didn't have the cash on me (although I argumented, that the number was already given through Booking.com).
