“ This is not my first time staying here. I was here for the Easter weekend of 2013and the Hotel is right in the middle of Kevelaer. A family run hotel and they look after their customers. ”

Located in the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer, this family-run hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the historic St Antonius Church. It offers free Wi-Fi, massage services and a traditional restaurant. The Goldener Apfel is in art nouveau style and offers comfortably furnished rooms, featuring a TV, telephone and private bathroom. Breakfast is available at the Apfel every morning. A restaurant also serves a wide variety of local cuisine. The area surrounding the Goldener Apfel is ideal for walking, cycling and canoeing. Bicycles can also be hired from the hotel, and there is a bicycle repair service available. The River Niers is a 15-minute walk away. The Dutch border is a 12-minute drive from the Hotel Goldener Apfel. Free parking is also available. Excelent location, very friendly, our flight was delayed and we could check out a little later the next day. Very good brekfast. Very beautiful village, highly to recommend.

The location of the hotel is right on the main square in Kevelaer with the Basilica a 2 minute walk from the front entrance. The decor and atmosphere is true, and in keeping, to the style of the building. Typically practical and formal. The staff were polite and pleasant. Our room was located on the 2nd floor and there was no lift apparent. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to it. This was served in the main restaurant part of the hotel which again is very in keeping with the hotel itself. Very traditional. We enjoyed our stay here. We recommend eating at the Golden Schwann restaurant. It is very popular with the locals, very reasonably priced and the food is amazing. The Parking. It was extremely limited and we had to leave the car keys in the main reception area just in case the staff needed to move the car.

No stars but big heart , always smiling and very warm welcome staff . Huge breakfast , and the small plus , I was missing something "shower gel" , staff but a new one without asking , that show how they take care about their guest . a big thanks .

Excellent location in a delightful pilgrimage town, Convenient for Weeze Airport (good bus links) and rail links to Düsseldorf and anywhere else in Germany. Very good room for the price. When we stayed Sunday 18th to Tueday 20th March the hotel was deserted and we were almost the only guests. Restaurant closed on both Sunday and Monday evenings.

Vriendelijke onvangst. Heerlijk diner. Gunstige ligging in het centrum van Kevelaer. Leuke ouderwetse sfeer. Bereikbaarheid met de auto in het centrum. Parkeergelegenheid beperkt.

Удобно расположен рядом с аэропортом Вице - 15 минут на машине. Красивое здание в стиле модерн прямо в центре симпатичного городка. Вкусный ужин в ресторане, доброжелательное обслуживание. Маленький номер, отсутствие лифта.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. De auto stond in eerste instantie geparkeerd op een marktplein. De receptionist bood aan om mee te lopen, zodat we gebruik konden maken van hun prive parkeerplaats. Gezien het slechte weer, mocht ik door de prive vertrekken naar het hotel lopen. De eigenaresse bood aan om ons wijs te maken in het restaurantaanbod (geen gebruik van gemaakt). Het ontbijt was subliem, zeer uitgebreid, vers, met toelichting en persoonlijke aandacht. Het hotel ligt direkt aan het plein met basiliek en kapel. Kevelaer is een klein stadje. Interesse voor het bedevaartsoord is essentieel om hier een interessant weekend door te brengen.

De persoonlijke betrokkenheid van de eigenaars, de wijze waarop de mensen die bedienen het je naar de zin willen maken, de familie-achtige sfeer, de ligging aan het plein, bij grote feesten het contact met de lokale bevolking binnen het restaurant, het goede eten en bereidheid de keuken te openen ook al staat het niet in de planning. Voor mensen, die moeilijk ter been zijn: geen (trap)lift naar hotelkamers en geen mogelijkheid tot huur van rolstoel.

locatie is perfect. Kamer is schoon, fietsen konden we in een garagebox zetten achter slot en grendel gastvrijheid; er werd ons niets verteld of uitgelegd. Betalen moest al bij inchecken, tijdens ons verblijf heeft niemand ons aangesproken. Ietswat vreemd..

Доброжелательное отношение персонала,чистота,месторасположение.Очень удобное место ночлега при перелёте между рейсами. В номере холодно,интернет хоть и заявлен ,но мы жили на 3-м этаже,сигнала нет,пока не спустились в ресторан.

Locatie perfect: je loopt uit het hotel zo het bekende kerkplein op. Centraler kan niet. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. En een ontbijt dat je nog maar zelden tegenkomt: privé tafel gedekt met alles erop en eraan. Absolute aanrader voor wie een dagje Kevelaer doet.
