The view from our room over the Tauber Valley and onto the walls of this ancient city were magnificent. Our rooms were huge, and the price for three people very reasonable. The German breakfast had lots of variety and was delicious. The shower facilities in the old sloped bathtub were not ideal. |

Very nice, large room and comfortable beds. Good breakfast and generally friendly staff. No internet available in the rooms, though there were a couple (busy) computer terminals in the lobby area. |

Everything in Rothenburg has some age on it, as does this hotel. Our air-conditioned room was furnished with antiques, a modern bathroom (tub and separate shower), bidet, and a view of the Tauber valley from our window. Breakfast was included. |

appearance of historical building is good , view from window is beautiful histrical building but inside is just old, shower is not covenient , cleaning is not perfect, less staff for break fast ,we have to wait so long,missing food due to less staff (only one staff working very hard ,but it can not cover busy time of breakfast |

The room and the view. I had a big family room which comprise of a big parent room and a separate decent children room. The room was beatiful and the view was breathtaking. Breakfast was very simple. |

The hotel has a very good position against the town wall and within easy reach of all the town's sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. Our room had excellent views but the bathroom was very cramped and inconvenient. |

Great location within city walls, close to tourist sites, shopping, and dining. One of the few hotels we stayed at that had airconditioning. We had a beautiful view of the Tauber Valley from our room. Quiet at night! Good breakfast included in the price of the room. Nice staff. Reasonably priced parking was close by but uncovered. Great value for the money. Bathroom small but typical for Europe. |

Everything! The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a room that looked out over the valley - wonderful view! The breakfast was very delicious and filling - also breakfast room with a gorgeous view of the valley. A few weeks before, our daughter had stayed there with a group and left her glasses. We called and the staff had found them and mailed them promply. Thank you again. We will go back to this great hotel in a medieval town we have visited several times before. |

Beautiful hotel. They put us in their "family room" which was one of two with an incredible view of the valley and tons of room. We don't know how we got so lucky. It was great sitting on the balcony and taking in the scenery. It's located in the heart of town...perfect. The shower is hard to use because it really is a bath with a hose to rinse off. If you're looking for "hotel services", this is not for you. It's a historic hotel with terrific furnishings in a great setting for having a room. There was not food service in the hotel, except for a good morning breakfast, but food and drinks are a few steps out the front door. |

The Goldener Hirsch Rothenburg is perfect in every way. Great views, ideal location in Rothenburg, friendly staff, great breakfast, beautifully decorated. It was the best hotel we stayed at in our recent Germany/Austria vacation. We loved it. |

The friendly family atmosphere of this beautiful old hotel is outstanding. Room 214 has a magnificent view of the Tauber Valley. Breakfast was very good. Dinner is not seved, but with so many restaurants in town, it is not really a problem. |

Our hostess/owner was wonderful. She was so helpful and accommodating. My husband asked for some ice, and by the time he parked the car, she had ice waiting in our room (which was apparently something you don't get easily in German guesthouses). We thank her for suggesting the Night Watchman Tour! It was one of the highlights of our trip. |

Very friendly staff. Comfortable accomodations. Great location for touring the town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Breakfast was supposed to be until 10 am and they were running out of eggs and other items before 9 am. |
