Golden Tulip Berlin Hotel Hamburg  

This is the second time we have stayed at the Golden Tulip and on each occasion we have been very pleased with both the general ambience of the hotel, combined with excellent service and very comfortable rooms. We would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends.

The location is great. It's few minutes walk from Ku'Damm, it's close to Tiergarten, Potsdam Platz, etc. The staff at the reception was very helpful and friendly. The breakfasts are great. The design of the lobby, restaurant are nice. There is free internet in the lobby (2 computers). The room has all the necessary amenities: safe box, hair dryer, etc. The car parking behind the hotel has the roof so when it's raining, it's possible to offload or upload the car without getting wet.

The room is quite small in size. The cleaning should have been done more thoroughly. We also had to ask the staff at the desk to add up the shower gel - it was not done by the cleaning lady.

Two thumbs up for a wonderful reception staff, mainly the trainees! :)

The normal double room was so small! We had to (and were lucky enough) to upgrade it. If you come for a short Berlin visit and planning to see your room just for a shower and some sleep before hitting town again then the standard room might be ok for you...

Location on the side street is great because it is much quieter. Several good restaurants nearby. Easy walk to the KaDeWe shopping. Excellent bar area and very helpful staff.

Wish the 11th floor with the great view was sometimes open as a bar for guests.

Very good location. It was good to have parking place in the hotel. Very good breakfast.

It good have being nice to have free internet in our room, or in the common places of the hotel. I think that a hotel of this category should have this service included in the room price.

The welcoming staff all spoke good english and were very obliging. The renovations since my last visit are good and have moved the hotel more up market. The room was superb very clean and comfortable and a nice touch to include tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I will not doubt return.

The only negative observations were that the breakfast area was cramped with little room between the seats and the tea making facilities in the room could include real milk in the fridge and some extra sachets of tea.

Vale veramente la pena di soggiornare al Golden Tulip per la pulizia, la posizione, la bontà della prima colazione e la disponibilità dello staff. E' a pochi minuti dalla stazione della metropolitana di Wittenberg Platz dalla quale si può raggiungere qualunque punto della città in poco tempo. Nella stessa piazza vi sono poi I grandi magazzini KaDeWe che bisogna perlomeno visitare, non è tempo sprecato.

Non riesco a capire perché in un albergo del genere, dal prezzo non proprio stracciato si debba richiedere un pagamento irragionevole per il collegamento WiFi che in quasi tutti gli alberghi, alberghetti, pensioni e b&b d'Europa è gratuito. Mi sembrerebbe un biglietto da visita più adatto all'ospitalità dell'albergo se ci si conformasse a quanto fanno dappertutto.

El desayuno - centrico pero tranquilo

Fijne bedden. Behulpzaam personeel. Het hele hotel was erg netjes. Locatie midden in Berlijn. Prettig voor stedentrip

Het was best warm in het hotel en in de kamers. Bij het ontbijt was er wel eens wat op maar er was meer dan voldoende keus.

Lage, Preis, Mitarbeiter.

Die Lage und die freundlichkeit des personals

Die Hotelmitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und bei Fragen jederzeit behilflich. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und für eine Wochenendreise allemal ausreichend vom Komfort. Die Lage war super, wir waren zu Fuß schnell am Kudamm und b eim KaDeWe. Es war alles in allem ein tolles Wochenende.
