The restaurant was excellent. The hotel's exterior and the restaurant's interior are beautiful and old.

Close to the main tourist attractions. Nice old building with modern interiors.

Could be quite cold in the room in winter. Could be an issue with public car parking during the market days on the square next to the hotel.

great location, breakfast was great

The front desk staff were not friendly, didn't even manage an aknowledgement when I passed the desk on my way out. There were alot of scuff marks on the walls of the rooms and the bed side lamp was working but falling off the wall.

The hotel was in a very noisy location.... No air conditioning so had to try to sleep with windows open .... volume of traffic from very early morning and noise from the street late at night.. No information in the room regarding hotel facilities. Towels supplied worn and thin have had better staying in budget hotels eg etap

The location was excellent, and the breakfast was very good. The dining area generally was attractive, as was the exterior of the hotel.

While we are used to church bells in the centre of European cities, those near this hotel were particularly intrusive - every 15 minutes right through the night. So light sleepers should bring ear-plugs. The decor in the rooms was also very plain compared with most hotels, and was out of line with the attrractive exterior of the hotel. It was also expensive compared with similar hotels we used during July and August 2009 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Local hotel, excellent location - food good - bed comfy - bathroom exceptionally clean

We read on this website that the church bells were a problem. I therefore asked for a quiet room which we were given. We didn't hear the bells but the room was overlooking the fire escape and we were unable to see the sky! However for one night it was not a problem but in future I would prefer to hear the bells and have a room with a view!

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the old city. Great location, good shopping, restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the train station. Plentiful breakfast buffet.

My room faced the external elevator, so no view.

Very nice hotel, and well located at Konstanz

We had a big room with nice views but the heating didn't heat up the room enough.

Mir hat das höfliche und freundliche Auftreten der Angestellten gefallen.

Leider wird bei diesem Hotel am Personal gespart. Eine Angestellte musste die Gäste im Restaurant bedienen, gleichzeitig an der Rezeption sein um Gäste ein- und auschecken zu lassen und Telefonate annehmen. Das Personal in diesem Hotel kann einen nur leidtun. Es schuftet bis zum Umfallen und muss dabei noch freundlich sein, die Chefs stoßen derweil vielleicht mit Champus an, weil schon wieder Kosten gespart werden konnten.

Die gute Lage in der Stadt, gemütliches Restaurant, solides Frühstückbuffet

Sehr kleines Zimmer, sehr kleines Bad, viel zu kleines Waschbecken, keine Aufhängemöglichkeit im Bad.

Fehlende Parkplätze, hohe Parkgebühren für drei Tage

nette Angestellte, gute Lage.

Eher kleine Zimmer und Frühstücksbuffet wurde am Sonntag nicht aufgefüllt.
