Building was beautiful, many interesting details to look at. Interconnecting rooms worked well for our family. Even a delightful balcony to use (had it not been snowing!)
wifi connection was poor in bedrooms, but didn't detract from our pleasant short stay
The location is perfect, directly in the city center.
The three person room we booked contains 1 double bed and a sleeping sofa with 3 times folding mattress, which is rather unconfortable.
The room was very basic
The dining room, staff and location
Very poor bedding for our adult daughter Many sloppy details : curtains dropping off, burned table, parts of bathroom door handle coming off, to name but a few.....
Liked everything about this historic Hotel, especially the Breakfast and friendly staff.
In my opinion simply nothing to dislike
Beautiful building in the downtown
the décor & location as well as the staff
very slow wifi
Good location. Good breakfast.
WIFI didn't work during the first 2 days. I was traveliing with a colleague and the the hotel at first gave us 2 rooms connecetd by a door that could not be locked. It was difficult ro convince them that this was not acceptable. The bathroom service is too poor (just basic soap, not replaced for 9 days).
Nice and central easy to leave the car and walk.
Our room was in the eaves made getting in and out of bed tricky.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, specially bathroom. Very nice location in the town center, close to the railway. Breakfast was fair.
No wifi during first 2 days, then it was working well. Rooms a bit small (at least on 5th floor)
Farmers Market outside the hotel
Had to pay for Wifi. Staff at front desk rather aloof.
The front staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the staff that working in restaurant during the breakfast hour. The building has beutiful artwork painted on it and the restaurant has some beautiful stainglass.
The room we had faced the street and had to deal with street noice as well as people being very loud at 2-4 in the morning. The room was clean for the most part but there were stains on the white window curtains as well holes in the baseboards of the walls in hallways.
Large breakfast included. Good location. Room adequate.
Squashy bathroom with hardly any places to put things. Wifi was only good for one device. Parking is a public car park, but not far away.
Location is good. 5 min from the lake and from the central railway station.
The bathroom and the shower cabin were very small. Wi-Fi didn't work on 4th floor during whole my stay in the hotel.
Location Comfort in the room Breakfeast
Blend rooms, so much expectation when you see the medieval look exterior that is not at all met
Great location, nice room, but no internet connection in the room. You have to come out of the room to get Wifi signal.
Nice historical building with good location
Rooms were dirty. We had many spiders in room - first night was spider hunt. Check-in staff was nice but check- out staff a horror.
Right in town Very modern
One of reception staff abrupt but rest fine
Beautiful hotel, liked the decor and the historic feel of this well-maintained building. The service was good, enjoyed the comfortable room, and bathroom. Had a drink in the bar after dinner, friendly and courteous hostess.
The wifi didn't work at all, the gal at the desk kept promising she'd get it fixed but never did. The street noise was really bad. There was a lot of engine revving that woke me up out of a dead sleep (and I sleep through almost everything!) The restaurant was closed on Sunday, so that was just bad luck for us. Would have liked to have dined there.
Nice place and in a great location for walking around. Good value for money.
The room was clean, comfortable, and European sparse. There was actually a mini bar! Our room overlooked a noisy intersection, which was a bit unfortunate, but the noise died down when it needed to. The restaurant was fantastic - the historical details made the place so special, and the food was delicious!
Nothing the hotel could control - the noisy cars on the street below our window. Really, there is no need for gunning your engines, drivers.
Excellent location on edge of old town. Very attractive decorated building outside, clean and modern inside, good sized room, well furnished, nice comfortable place to stay. Good self service buffet breakfast.
Reception on arrival was a bit basic, no offer of help with info or advice. Restaurant closed But it was Sunday and World Cup Final, maybe everybody preoccupied, no interest in guests.
convenient location in old centre of city
some of the rooms are rather noisy, as one side of hotel faces a busy road room was fairly small
Staffs are very kind, location is good, the building of hotel is very historical and beautiful.
If they have a rack in bathroom, we can stay more comfortable.
