Grand City Börsenhotel Düsseldorf  

The hotel was clean, well staffed and friendly but the rooms were very small. Unfortunately we stayed there at a time when a major exhibition was on hence the room rates were astronomical.

Room sizes too small.

The first room I was given (twin room) was very small, with tiny beds and a tiny shower. After asking if a larger room with double beds, my room was changed to a much better one.

It was a little expensive for standard of accomodation perhaps due to big conference prices were inflated?

The room was very clean, the breakfast was good. Location was perfect!

WiFi should have been for free..

Comfortable room. Kettle in the room. Walking distance to city center (altstadt). Cordial staff.

My room was near the elevator and could hear the noise. Bathroom very narrow.

The hotel facilities and especially the really friendly staff suprised us positively. We got separate beds as I had wished and the room was nice and tidy. Bathroom was nice, except the water pressure was'nt really good but that is not the hotels fault (its normal in Germany I think). Also it was a bit cold in the room because we have used to central heating in Finland. Luckily the blankets were really warm so no problems about that either. The buffet breakfast was really good! A special thank to the tall man receptionist(wroking at night time), he was really friendly. And to the receptionist who sent me my mobile charger which I left in our room =) Overall keep up the good spirit which you have, I will suggest this hotel to everyone who will appreciate a cozy smaller hotel with a good location!

We were glad to stay in this hotel,especially,reception staff was perfect,they were very kind, the room was very clean and relatively large and bright,the young man in breakfast room was very kind and respectful,the location was good and easy to find,thank you,Ican recommend this hotel to my friends.

Everything was okey,nothing to complain.

Close to the city center. By walk just 10 minutes to Alstad

Very small room and old elevator.

Price was reasonable (75€/room/night) and hotel is pretty nice. Not far from Train Station and city center (about 10 mins walking each). Staff is nice.

It was my second time in this hotel. While in my first time I had a pretty room on 5th floor, this time I was given a quite small room on 4th floor very close to elevator. Acoustic isolation was not good so I could hear noise from elevator and from other unpolite guests. Too much high prices for beverages on vending machine (water 2,20€/0,5lt ... notice that petrol is 1,6€/lt!!)

Large room, excellent location. Just 5 minutes walk to kö, just 2-3 minutes to kö gallery. Helpful receptionists.

I wrote some comments to the hotel prior to arriving. They didn't respond. Later I found out they didn't understand English. Should have told me that. We requested a quiet room (we came in after a very long nightly flight) and would arrive at 11.30 am. The room wasn't ready. The room was not quiet but close to the elevator and very noisy. And they had constructions going on so there was a lot of drilling and hammering during the day. We put the 'do not disturb' sign on the door, but the maids were talking very loud at 8.00 am. We hardly had any sleep. Also electricity fell out twice.

The staff were excellent and genounly nice ( all except for one :-p) they were very helpful to provide me with places to go, which train to take and so forth. The rooms were big and very spacesious. It is just an opposite of a Japanese bakery which sereves the most delicious pastries . Good if you opt not to have the breakfast in the hotel. Also, it is near Japanese grocery stores and DVD and book stores. The main station just minutes away. Kofhof, Altsad, and C&A are less than 5 minutes away. really for the price we paid I braced myself for a nightmare but it turned out to be a dream.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Good location between railway station and old town.
