This 5-star hotel is a beautiful manor house surrounded by gardens in the hilly countryside of Bergisch Gladbach. The Lerbach restaurant has won 2 Michelin-stars. There is also a spa area with pool.

Gorgeous place, amazing room, super comfortable bed, excellent breakfast!
Fantastic hotel and location. Easy rail connection to Cologne. Try the Vendome for a once in a lifetime experience.
- The building was well kept with original features - Vendome restaurant fantastic
- Location was too close to the town, we expected more rural surroundings - The lobby bar not open in the evening for a quiet relaxed drink (even though the other bar was very nice) - No tea/coffee facilities in the room - A lot of noise in the morning in front of the Hotel (due to setting up a stage), I would expect to be notified and possible get a reduced rate or some nice gesture. When staying in a luxury hotel we would not expect work outside/near the room before at least 10am in the morning
SPA ROOM CONFORT perfect for Romance
small details at restaurant Enoteca - asked for a wine that never came....the same for the parmegiano for my Ravioli what a shame
The Gourmet Restaurant was Perfect.
I stayed the Sunday Night at the Schloss, it was too quiet for me. Not a single soul except AT the restaurant.
Service quite exceptional, all extra requirements gratefully attended too. Restaurant reservations completed with recommendations for the Vendome
Very nice building, good wifi, free parking. I see some previous comments saying parking and wifi were a rip off, we didnt pay for either. A hotel of this price should not be charging for them so it seems they have listened.
Location is not fantastic, there isn't much in the local village. It was over 200 euros a night and I am not convinced it was worth that much, even though it was good.
Perfect location for business or a weekend with your lovely wife. Staff is perfectly trained and the food is excellent.
Quite place very good view
To reach is not easy and not clear
The staff and the service in the Italian restaurant was superb. The menu with the wine selection was well thought out and a gastronomique experience. I look forward to my next visit to this gem.
nothing in paticular
Service is at 98% level.
The elegance, the friendly staff.
No free Wi-Fi, parking costs a fortune (22 Euros) and the Christmas tree is taken down too early (on 28 December!) My family's been staying here for 10 years and each year the decorations become less and less. My bathroom had a dirty vase, half-filled with water, but no flower. Usually, there's a flower in the bathroom. Still, a nice hotel.
Beautiful building. Lovely room.
The staff were a bit of a let down. It seems that their version of good service is different to other five star hotels, despite the fact that they charge the same amount of money for a stay. I was also surprised that they wanted to charge me parking at the hotel for a place located in their large basement car park in a location that is effectively in the middle of nowhere, with no reason for parking charges other than greed. Sparse mini bar. Bar service personnel didn't manage to get a single round of drinks correct, but were pleasant.
Fantastic place for romantic weekend. Suits are spacious and well decorated.
Private transfer from the Airport Bonn was inclusive at the room rate, but we had to wait more then 1 hour for the car to show up upon our arrival. Same story on our way back (this time car arrived 15 minutes late). Do NOT use their Gourmet restaurant unless you like mayonnaise - it's total disappointment. All dishes are cooked using mayonnaise, my wife was actually sick after our dinner. Their wine recommendation was total nightmare and although we chosen to stay with 1 bottle of Riesling (the only drinkable wine they had) we were charged for BOTH the wine "menu" (although we had only 2 glasses from it) AND the bottle of Riesling... Totally unacceptable. We ended up paying more then 600 EUR for a dinner for 2 persons which we almost did not eat and were sick after it...
- Great place to relax; - It's really big. Looks like we were only visitors in hole building; - Good food;
- A lot of traffic at the monday morning (we almost miss our flight from Dusseldorf Airport);
It's really grand. the atmosphere is relaxing even when you walk out to the local streets. Train and buses are close by.
Most amazing hotel ever, pure luxury from the second you step in the premises. Its like being in a palace. Food is very good as well, staff very nice and very helpful Highly recommended
Nothing in particular
Exceptional luxury hotel in the prince's castle with increadibly gourmet, fine dining, michelin starred restaurants on site - don't miss them, reserve tables in advance. Nice view, very high ceiling, very clean. Nice personnel and great facilities with big enough pool and many sauna types. Also they have limo transfer to airport. And, when they call taxi, they call good new cars with good drivers speaking English.
