Hotel Granus  

Everything. Very hospitality owners. Extremely cleanliness room. Charming breakfast room.

Maybe coffee/tea facilities at evening time, when reception is closed.

Superb breakfast and excellent location.

Herr Berens was a delightful host and was very welcoming.

The room was adequate but smaller than what we expected given the overall cost of the room. It would have been nice to have had tea and coffee making facilities in the room - the hotel was too far away from the centre to pop out for a quick coffee. Also the price did not reflect the distance we had to walk to get to the Xmas markets. We stayed at the Granus because the Dom Mercure,, where we stayed before and which was closer and more comfortable, was fully booked.

Service was very warm and personal. Room was really clean, and had everything I needed. I appreciated the included wireless internet. Plumbing worked well, and everything was very clean (bathroom, wardrobe, carpet, etc). Breakfast had such a personal touch, and service felt really genuine. True to what I read before making a booking, this is one place to go for! I arrived late, and was treated almost like a family member. It felt like home at the first step into the hotel. Just what I needed after a long 5 hour drive! Kudos!

The breakfast was wonderful, the host as well. Very close to the thermos and the casino, a little walk to the city center.

Excellent atmosphere; large and comfortable room; clean; the owners very helpful and friendly; it counts among the best hotels I stayed in the past 2 years (from more than 50!).

The owner was welcoming and the room very clean. The bathroom was a good size too and well fitted. Breakfast buffet was superb with fresh fruit, cereals bread, ham and cold meat and plenty of fresh bread.

The room decor is a little dated and it was quite noisy for a time at night.

The breakfast was great and the proprietors very accommodating, parking near by and convenient.

Excellent, professional yet friendly service. Clean, spacious room and hearty varied breakfast. Close to spa and 20 minute pleasant walk to alt stadt. Appreciated refrigerator in room and ceiling fan.

No complaints, but for those who prefer soft beds--beds are firmer than some might like. We slept very well and will gladly return.

Hosts were very welcoming; room was compact but comfortable. Good location for city centre and excellent local thermal spa. Fabulous breakfast.

Very clean rooms with new bathrooms, close to the city center and excellent breakfast. The owners, the Berens family, were great and they do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We would definitely stay there again!
