The north of the island is about 15 km long from Sassnitz to Lohme – a splendid coastline with chalk cliffs of up to 100 metres that is said to be the most interesting coast in Germany. The most famous rock spur is the Königsstuhl (chair of the king) that can be climbed (fee required).
The nearby balustrade Viktoria offers the best view of the Königsstuhl. You can also enjoy the view from the banks of the sea that can be reached via 500 stairs and is located 117 metres lower down.

The cleanest room we have ever had at a hotel. Breakfast OK even if we lacked vegetables. The room was in the basement and had a not so pleasant smell. WiFi did not work unless you had a German subscribtion of some kind. |

De ligging aan de rand van het dorpje Gingst, het vriendelijke personeel en het ontbijtbuffet. Ook de bedden en de douche waren prima. De kamers zijn erg gehorig. Met name in het weekend, toen er enkele bussen met toeristen waren, viel dat op. Anderzijds gedroeg iedereen zich wel rustig, en viel de overlast mee. |

Mycket bra och professionell service. Bra standard på rummet och en fantastisk frukostbuffé. Barnen trivdes väldigt bra och ville stanna fler än de två nätter vi hade bokat. |

Saubere Zimmer und reichhaltiges Frühstück.Nicht weit weg von Rügens Sehenswürdigkeiten zb. die Kreidefelsen bei Sassnitz!Super Strand in Prora und Ostseebad Binz.Wer lust auf leckeren frischen und preiswerten Fisch hat ist auf Rügen genau richtig. |

Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers und das neue saubere Badezimmer. Zu hellhörig, gerade wenn nachts Busse ankommen. Wir kamen uns leider sehr beobachtet vor von den Mitarbeitern, so nach dem Motto wir könnten ja etwas entwenden, schrecklich. Leider zu viele alte Leute in diesem Hotel. Ebenfalls hat uns nicht gefallen der Speisesaal, könnte freundlicher und heller gestaltet werden und auch hat uns nicht gefallen, dass man seinen Tisch zu gewiesen bekommt, schrecklich. Die Busse haben in diesem Hotel Vorrang, schade. |

Das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis ist o.k., das Angebot des angeschlossenen Restaurants ist ausreichend. Gut ist, dass man zwischen zwei günstigen Tagesmenüs wählen kann. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Die Wege zwischen Restaurant und Hotelbar sind für das wenige Personal am Abend zu weit. (War noch Essenszeit, konnte man in der Bar warten bis der Arzt kommt). Die Zimmer im EG sind hellhörig (Gepolter von oben). |
