Very close to the old city. Short walk to the main train station. Really nice and helpful staff. The owners Heike and Dirk are so welcoming. It felt like I was staying with family.
Covered all the basic comforts very well. Excellent helpful staff. Very convenient for the city and for access. Good breakfast options.
Nothing of any significance though I was glad I had brought my own shower gel.
location, free parking, dinner and breakfast were good.
the mattress was on the firm side and a bit too hard.
Good location a short walk from the old town centre, with secure parking. Very clean; quirky and interesting decorations. The feel is more like a hostel than a hotel. Lovely terrace and garden (weather permitting!)
Busy road with early morning traffic. Limited access to the kitchen (7am-11pm) meant we couldn't keep anything in the fridge the night before our early morning departure.
Nice rooms, friendly stuff
relaxing on the terrace
Breakfast was very healthy and mostly vegan.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Next morning we took breakfast (paid separately) which was worth every cent. There is also very cozy reception area, it's a must see. An overall impression from our stay was great.
To sum it up the guests were treated as obstacles. The reasons why I chose this hotel were the location and the kitchen. We couldn't use the kitchen between 8am and 11 am, because the paid breakfeast was in the common kitchen. And after 11 because the kitchen was being cleaned. :) We also couldn't use any of the common area after 10.30pm because it was closed. This time limit was never mentioned to us anywhere prior to our booking.
The brekfast buffé wasn't worth the money Limited choice of food. Children have to pay full price.
Good location, near the old town and not so far away from the harbour where we had to catch the boat to Sweden. Superclean. Friendly staff.
Warm welcome. Staff really helps you with any question or problem you might have. Clean, spacious rooms including wifi. Breakfast was unique. Exellent parking facilities, but only for about 6 - 8 cars.
Wifi did not work at common areas.
The interior decoration created a very nice atmosphere. Secure parking for my bicycle.
good breakfast friendly & helpful people
- parking on 1st day was not reserved - no elevator - tv was next to the bed, not possible to watch - we saw afterwards it was a backpack hotel, did not see this at time of booking
That's really a very nice hotel with an individual friendly character, nice staff, comfortable for a stay in a central location of the city centre of Rostock. We enjoyed it very much and will come back definitively. Highly recommended.
Own parking. Nice atmosphere in the bar and on the terrass. A very special breakfast. Special interior decoration.
I missed something cold to drink at breakfast and yougurt.
We enjoyed staying in this hotel, hotel staff was very welcome, room was clean and nice, excellent value for the money.
Friendly staff, great location, clean and comfortable room. Perfect for our one night stay but would definitely stay here again if we would come back to Rostock. Nice but simple breakfast for an extra cost.
Staff really friendly and helpful. Very convenient, at 5 mins walk from the center. I would definitely recommend it.
I didn't like the fact that they claim that the charge for the Parkin is 4,5 euro but they charged me 40,50 euro for one parking lot.
basic hotel with some unusual and interesting decorations. convenient for rail and bus/tram services.
Living room is a good facility within a hotel to spend a time jointly - there are a variety of games offered (!) and you can prepare coffee/tee any time. Nice rooms with specific furniture.
It was easy to park a car, but this was the last lot, no idea on how other guests parked.
The hotel was very comfortable and cozy. If we visit Rostock again, we will definitely stay at this hotel.
