The breakfast was simply but very good,clean rooms and helpful service.

The toilet is in a box like cabin inside the room.

The owner, Armani and his wife took care of me as if I had been a member of their family. They were so kind and caring, it was incredible. I will go back next year for the Berlinale, without a doubt. Plus the fact that the hotel is 5 minutes from a major u-bahn station, 10 min. away from the Berlinale center, in a lively but safe neighborhood.

No telephone in my bedroom and no table where I could write. But I could use the dining room to work (I am a journalist), which was fine.

Steep stairs in the entrance may be a problem for handicaps.

This is a family guest house that owners run. Owners make you feel as if you are at home. It is a modest but clean old house. You have a standart breakfast. There is no luxery but is very suitable who come to visit Berlin with suitable prices.

A hair dryer was lacking.

Nice and friendly personal

The staff (I'm assuming owners) were very nice. It is very close to transport and and close to shopping and food. The room was huge.

Only on arrival you have to climb one level of stair to get to the actual hotel door.

First, location; second cost; third and most important: service. The owners were delightdul and always made you feel like a welcomed family member.

Areas for improvement: 1) Add a dresser in the rooms, so there is enough space for personal items when unloading your suitcase; 2) Newer TV sets (don't have to be big, but modern); 3) more variety in the included breakfast, or at least better choices.

Simone was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel room was large and beautifully decorated in keeping with an earlier era. Charming. Very good breakfast.

Very nice place to stay when visiting Berlin - close to the city center. Nice and very helpful staff.

I liked the hospitality of Simone and Horst very much. They were extremely kind and correct. The rooms were quiet and I enjoyed the silence after a long day in the city. The U-Bahn at Nollendorfplatz is great.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Our host Simone was very helpful and kind. She was very attentive to our needs and always made tea for my mother and me at the end of a long day. The room was big for the 5 of us and was very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very promptly served to us by Simone .

The floors were very creaky and loud at night due to loose floor boards. The breakfast could use a little more variation and choices.

The hosts were very friendly and took very good care of us. The location is very convenient, as it is just 5 minutes from the U-bahn station. I would definitely recommend it. I gestori tengono davvero molto ai propri ospiti e la signora Simona parla molto bene l'italiano. La posizione permette di raggiungere il centro rapidamente con i mezzi pubblici. Decisamente consigliato!

The building of this lovely hotel has a history of over 100 years. No matter how hot outside,it is cool and pleasant inside. You can get to the subway and shopping mall with a few steps. The hotel owner is a friendly couple, they are willing to help you all the time.

What we liked from Hotel Gunia was the hospitality of the owners. They make you feel comfortable and special, even though is not a four or five star hotel. They make you feel like you are part of their family and at any time there was not a "no we cant". They were always so happy and make sure we were comfortable and happy at their place. The Hotel was so different from any other hotel becuase it was designed with old furniture but in a great condition and make you feel like you were livinh in another time. What a nice place. We can not thank enough Ms. Simone and Mr. Hoss for their hospitality and let us stay in their nice and comfortable place.....Thanks. RamosAlamo Family

There's nothing that you can not like from Hotel Gunia.

Our hosts were fabulous.

Free WIFI was free and w/ good connection. Hotel owners/ staff were willing to help, had good English skills. The were knowledgeable of the area, gave good suggestions of places to go, etc. Close to Nollendorf Platz train station/ bus stops.

Walls are kind of thin and it can be noisy from other guests activities (slamming doors, loud breakfast room 8-10AM, etc) It has the feeling of a budget US Bed and Breakfast. Very small, no extra amenities or services (no business room, laundry, no lobby area, no 24hours staff, etc). I did not mind it, but it is good to be aware of what to expect. Breakfast was good but limited (cured meats, cheese, coffee/tea, milk, fresh bread, one hard boiled egg and butter/jam).

Utrolig kunde- og serviceorienteret personale som gjorde, at vi straks følte os velkommen. Rene og nydelige værelser med det man har brug for. Fint morgenbord af ordinær standard uden der for så vidt mangles noget. Vi havde et fint værelse/lejlighed med en skøn tilhørende gårdhave, hvor man kan slappe af. Næste gang vi kommer til Berlin, kunne det her hotel absolut være et godt bud - Her føler alle sig velkommen.

Das Personal im Hotel Gunia ist absolut liebenswert und sehr herzlich. Jederzeit wieder!

La signora simona dello staff è una persona squisita e parla perfettamente l italiano, oltre ad essere disponibile e gentilissima. Zona comoda e tranquilla, e x chi è interessato ci sono locali gay nelle vicinanze.

Niente

Hôtel très bien, propre et accueil très trés sympa. Situé au calme mais beaucoup de restaurants à proximité et également proche du métro, ce qui est trés pratique. Je recommande.
