Good staff support The price in my view was about 10% too high based on the prices offered by other hotels in the area. Having said that your occupancy rate appeared to be good.

The staff was all very friendly and the service was great. At the breakfast table we never had to wait for coffee, wich is a huge plus in my opinion. Finally the window, in contrary to some other hotels it can be fully opened, letting some fresh air in at night. Sleeping with open window is pretty noisy because of traffic, but the later it gets the fewer cars pass by. But that's the only 'minor' point I could find appart from there being no minibar, but who want's overpriced water anyway?

The front desk personnel is great. They are extremely helpful. They speak English well. The location is great, if you are traveling by train and you are planning to see the city There were ants all over the room. Not because they are harmful or dirty, I think it is still not a good scene for a hotel.

The location is great. Right next to the train station, after a long journey it was nice to not have to spend any time at all looking for the hotel. The hotel is also close to the main shopping area and the Dom church and plenty of restaurants and pubs. Even though the hotel is next to the train station it really was faily quiet if the window was closed. The double room we booked was more like a twin bed. One side of the bed was right against the wall which made for an uncomfortable and very warm sleep! If the bed was positioned away from the wall it may not have seemed as tiny. Not an ideal size for two people.

Comfortable and quiet, despite central location. Excellent location for visiting galleries and sites. Friendly staff. Very clean. Would definitely return. I did think the breakfast was a little overpriced, at 11 euros.

Location was perfect for our needs,just a few meters away from the railway station. It was in walking distance of the shopping areas, and the altstadt,and the chocolate museum, and was also really closely located to the Koln cathedral.

Extremely convenient to the train station, cathedral, downtown area, and christmas markets. Despite being located in the back of the train station, it was very quiet and we did not hear any noise from the train station at all. The bed was not so comfortable, it was very firm.

Located in the city centre, near the Dom, Christmas markets, tourist attractions and shopping opportunities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Ample and reasonably priced parking is available in the vicinity. The price of the hotel The pillows were very flat (typically German it seems). You might as well sleep without a pillow. Also the hotel is located right next to the: train station, bus terminal and consequently the taxi stand. The windows do not block the noise sufficiently. Thanks to the combination of the uncomfortable pillow, the constant traffic outside and the occasional singing band of drunks returning from a party I did not sleep a wink.

Location was perfect, opposite the railway station and extremely close to the cathedral and the Rhine. Hotel was extremely comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I had some reservations about staying so close to the railway station, but I needn't have. The rooms seemed to be soundproofed and the only time you heard the trains was when you opened the window. The bed I slept in was so comfortable and the room was lovely and warm. The buffet breakfast was incredible - there was so much choice E.G. lots of different types of German bread and bread rolls, croissants, pastries, cooked meats, cheeses, salad, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, scrambled egg, bacon, fruit juices, water, teas, coffee. Would I recommend this hotel? Definitely!

Very clean and renovated room.Location is very good: 3 minutes to railway, 5 minutes to Dom. Excellent breakfast (selection of cheeses and sauseges, omlett, Italian snacks, good coffee) served from 6 to 10. Nevertherless Hotel is near railway and just next to bus station it was quit in the room. Good mattress. We did not succeed in getting Intrenet (a little complicated system). Heating was switched off when we got in, and it was rather cold during the first 3 houres. Rather unconviniet container with shower gel-shampoo and hand liquid in the shower. But if coming back to Koln I would agree to stay again in the hotel.

Convenient for the main station ( 3 mins ) but room was quiet and comfortable. Staff friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast is good with a wide choice.
