We stayed here one week earlier on our way to see our second grandchild who was born in Hanover. We enjoyed it so much we decided to stay again on our way home. And we will stay again if we motor again to Germany next year. 220 euros for Gourmet Dinner, Aperitifs, excellent B&B, Pot of Tea and 2 large Applestrudles with free and secure parking cannot be bad ! The staff were very friendly and accommodating and Hendrik, and Mona both has opportunities to practice their English skills!

We liked everything about this Hotel. Nothing to fault. An excellent stop over for us travelling from Calais to Fallingbostal in Germany. One must experience at least one night here and blow your normal budget with an excellent dinner. There was nothing to dislike. A thoroughly enjoyable overnight stay.

- der hohe allgemeine Standard des Hotels u. des Restaurants - die freundliche und hilfsbereite Atmosphäre - die besondere topografische Lage - ohne besondere Aufmerksamkeit vorbereiteter Tisch, obwohl ausreichend lange vorher bestellt, für ein Abendessen von 5 Personen - relatives Unwissen und offensichtlich auch Mangel an Basisstoffen zur Zubereitung von Aperitivs.

Es handelt sich um ein sehr ansprechend zu einem luxuriösen Hotel umgewandeltes Gutshaus mit antiken Stilelementen, einem sehr schön angelegten Park, excellenter Gastronomie und sehr aufmerksamem zuvorkommenden Personal. Im übrigen sehr verkehsgünstig zur Autobahn gelegen, aber mit einer Entfernung von ca. 5 km so weit weg, daß man von dieser nichts hört und sieht. Für Ausflüge ins Sauerland und zum Möhnesee ideal gelegen.

In dieser Einrichtung stimmt einfach alles. Besonders erwähnt werden soll, dass das "Niveau der Küche" erfreulich hoch ist und vergleichbare Gastronomie zumeist in diesem Bereich schlechter abschneidet. Wir sind total begeistert und schlüsseln einmal auf, wie sich die Gruppe altersmäßig zusammensetzte: 7, 10, 51, 41, 38, 35, 65, 68.

Wir haben eine Nacht dort gewohnt und und waren sehr zufrieden. Das dort am Samstagabend angebotene Wildbuffet war eine Wucht. Das ganze Anwesen ist überaus gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war recht neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Preis für die Nacht war mehr als angemessen. Wir haben in namhaften Hotels schon viel teurer übernachtet und uns nicht annähernd so wohl gefühlt.

De kamers zijn echt erg netjes. Restaurant is simpelweg erg slecht. Past niet bij de uitstraling van het hotel. Ook hebben wij een keertje een overboeking gehad in dit hotel. Ze hebben ons in een ander slechter hotel ondergebracht. De hoteldirecteur leek het allemaal niet te boeien. Jammer.
