A breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast room, or on the terrace in summer. The restaurant specialises in local game dishes, and barbecue facilities are also available. Gutshaus Kajahn is an ideal base for hiking, cycling and horse riding here in the South Rügen Nature Park. It is 500 metres from the Strelasund Waterway, which leads into the Baltic Sea. On-site facilities also include table tennis, trampoline and go-karts. On-site parking is free for guests. The historic town of Stralsund and the Ozeaneum science centre are only 10 km away. For some, the location would seem remote, however my husband is a keen ornithologist and I like walking in th countryside with my dog and so the location , set in open countryside, but surrounded by woodlands, is perfect and we would not hesitate to return. The history of the wider area, which was run by a Communist regime until the 80s is fascinating. See Prora, Binz and Stralsund. The serving staff at the hotel are a little wary, but the owners more than make up for it if you give them a chance. The holiday flat was unusually positioned in the gable of the house and the second bedroom was too small for my aunt, who accompanied us. We could have moved to conventional rooms, but liked the idea of being able to self cater when we wanted, which was for one meal every day. We also liked having our own sitting room. The accomodation would not be suitable for elderly infirm or very small children as a lot of aspects were lacking in safety ie steep stairs, sloping ceilings, difficult exit in an emergency. It suited us once we got used to it and was very well priced. The breakfasts (8 e) were wonderful!

Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe, gutes Frühstück Im Apartment durch die Dachschrägen für größere Leute kaum ein aufrechter Gang möglich.Betten im Schlafzimmer knarrten fürchterlich.

Eine familiäre Atmosphäre in einer idyllischen Umgebung und mitten in der Natur. Der unbefestigte Parkplatz vor dem Gutshaus und das fehlende 2. Schlafzimmer im Apartment.

Hotellets identitet samt de landlige omgivelser. Vi var gerne blevet der længere end de 4 dage, vi overnattede der. Badekarrets bund var glat, vi havde gerne set en skridsikker måtte.
