One of my favorite things in the world is the small, clean, German hotel. This hotel is not so small and not so clean. It was obvious that someone with poor eyesight cleaned the bathroom. Others in the group were not satisfied either--complaints about the poor value, for the most part. On the other hand, the staff was helpful, there was plenty of parking, and there was an elevator.

Ein älteres Hotel, dessen beste Zeiten bereits vorüber sind. Ein Familienbetrieb mit einer guten ländlichen Küche und leckerem selbstgebrautem Bier. Persönliche und freundliche Ansprache. Sauberkeit lässt an einigen Stellen zu Wünschen übrig, gerade was den Badbereich angeht.

Wir haben es als sehr angenehm empfunden, dass wir auch um viertel nach zehn noch Frühstück bekommen haben, obwohl lt. Information die Frühstückzeit um zehn beendet war. Es wurde sogar eine Platte mit Wurst noch nachgelegt.

Zimmer waren hell und komfortabel. Lattenroste in den Betten konnten nicht einwandfrei vesstellt werden, einrasten war einseitigso dass die Kopfenden immer schief waren. Im Bad fehlten Haken.

Die Dusche war mit einem Duschvorhang, was nicht mehr dem heutigen Standard entspricht. Das Fernseher war ein altes, sehr kleines Röhrenfernseh, wobei hier auch der Empfang noch sehr schlecht war. Im Frühstücksraum war eine Lampe defekt, so daß man die ganze Zeit ein furchtbares Brummen hatte.
