Score from 131 reviews Excellent
We stayed here for a night. It was walking distance to the train station and that made it easy to go to the historic town Centre. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was fantastic. It was just opposite a small local shopping mall which made it easy to get stuff. Recommended
Nothing much really.
nice and cheap breakfast
The price and accommodation was amazing. Location was a bit out of the way, but simple to get to. Right beside the historic Nuremberg courts, about 15-20 minute walk from the train station.
The breakfast hours could be extended half an hour (ends at 10).
Proximity to utube. Helpful staff. Nice inexpensive breakfasts.
The staff was super friendly. Breakfast was always filling yet light. It's a 8minute walk to the subway and 20 minute to town. The grocery store was next door and a great Italian restaurant is across the street.
Not the most beautiful neighborhood but it was safe feeling.
Hotel had nice, clean rooms. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful. They had an excellent breakfast with a lot of food choices. The hotel had an elevator which was a nice plus.
Good value for money. What a breakfast the Family offers at the hotel. Warmly recommended place to stay for a couple of days.
We had booked a smaller room, but staff upgraded us to the family suite without any extra charge. The suite is wonderful. It's very spacious with two floors (living room and children's beds on the lower floor, and the parents' bedroom and bathroom on the upper floor. In addition the suite has a terrace on the roof of the hotel with a wonderful view over Nuremberg. Needless to say that the suite is very spacious.
It seems almost silly to add any negative remarks given the wonderful suite. However, the only drawback was that it was difficult to take a shower. The ceiling over the bathtub is low so you cannot take a shower standing. Of course taking a bath is the obvious alternative if you have time.

No air conditioning , Beds could be better.
Clean bathroom, Big Market in front of the Hotel, Reasonable Price and good breakfast
I read that the breakfast was really good but it really was not. And it was really far from the city center. The underground was really close but that is difficult to use with two small children in prams.
Good breakfast. Theres next door supermarket as well.
Front desk close after 10 and not open until 8
Location and value for money. Super breakfast. The room was very nice and clean (and so was the other parts of the hotal as well). Possible to rent a garage so we could leave all our stuff in the car. Staff spoke danish :-)
Breakfast room was small and You felt a little crowded
Very friendly staff, with excellent service and food. Parking was also very convenient.
very kind and helpful staff decent breakfast and excellent location
rooms should be vented more often, keep the windows open for a while solves a lot
Size of room, communication before checking, staff, breakfast
Position to supermarket and shops, and also close to the Court of Justice
You could hear a lot of street noise
The staff (Tony and his wife) are really nice. They gave a lot of indications. The location is good, in 5 minutes you are in the metro station.
The bathroom was small and the rooms don't have conditioned air or ventilators.
The hotel is handled by a family. They are very nice and helpfull. The hotel is really very clean and nice, situated a few minutes away from the underground station. Shopping mall and several restaurants a few minutes walk. Go for it! It worths !
I liked everything , nothing to dislike
* very good price (room + breakfast) * enough room for 4 peoples * rich selection of breakfast * free parking possibility * excellent WIFI * polite staff This was our second visite to this hotel and perhaps not the last one.
Directions to hotel by train were very good, so we found the hotel with no problems. The room was a good size, clean and everything worked. WiFi was excellant. It was useful to have a shopping complex beside the hotel. The breakfast was very good value and staff all spoke good English and were very helpful.
Good rooms, clean, great breakfast!
no 24hour reception
Great breakfast, awesome workers, clean rooms. It was a great place to stay!
Maybe that it's a little away from the city center but walk 5 minutes and your at a metro stop that takes you there in 10 minutes!
Location - There is a nice shopping center right across the street (groceries, clothes, etc). Short walking distance to the Nuremberg Palace of Justice (Justizpalast), various restaurants, an ATM, and an underground station to get you to your other destinations. Staff - The staff couldn't have been more friendly. The owner, Toni, spoke perfect English and was more than happy to answer any of our questions. Also, there was a very friendly lady from the Czech Republic managing the breakfast area that not only made sure we had enough to eat, but also turned out to be a great conversationalist. Make sure to say "hallo" to Snuffles. :) Facilities - Clean, comfortable, and an overall great value. Hotel Hamburg was a great start to my family's two-week vacation in Germany. Highly recommended.
For the sake of being completely objective... there was no air conditioning. BUT, based on my experience, AC wasn't even necessary during my visit in the middle of June. With the windows open, I got a pretty nice breeze that kept things very comfortable. If things were to heat up, it may be an issue though.
