Good choice for breakfast.
On entering the lobby, I was almost bowled over by the stench of smoke. The room (non-smoking) and particularly the bathroom reeked of stale smoke, even though the window was open, which made the room very cold on arrival. Heating did not appear to work. Bathroom so small that one could stand in front of the washbasin, but only bend over it if the door was open.
Room was comfortable, everything we needed and for one night quite affordable.
Towels smell like smoke. The corridors are a bit noisy, noise from the road kept us awake.
Stuff was really kind and helpful. Rooms are very clean and location near the subway is great. Breakfast was good, and with variety of choices.
Rooms are not well isolated and you can hear other guests.
I was there in Stuttgart for a business meeting, finding the hotel was easy, at the entrance I really appreciated the welcome conversation with the staff which indeed was detailed with complementary information as I needed. I remember I paid only 40 euro! for one night, the room was clean, facilities, bed, everything was well prepared and optimized.
Large room (rather old-fashioned decor but OK). Very clean. Adequate breakfast. Good wifi.
The hotel is OK, but rather overpriced by about 40% for its standard (but all hotels in Stuttgart are relatively expensive).
Not too far from city center (15 min walk). Close to S bahn (5 min walk).
Very bad mattress. Not possible to cancel last night.
Room space Old furniture Broken items
the breakfast and breakfast room as well as the newspapers. The room was very quiet and the city center is easy to reach on foot.
nothing. We like this hotel
very clear，the staff is very helpful
wifi isnt go o d
no wifi, too expensive for the value, more than 300€ a night ?!?
We staied two night. It was good for me and my friend. We want to find cheapest hotel so it is best for us. It's easy to go station(U bahn, not train station Stuttgart HBF). If you ask you can deposite your baggage. Night staff is so kind.
Day staff, She lie to us!!!! We saw that customer (room 311)checked out when we went to hotel about 6 o'clock. There is no deposit room so night staff, he help to check in early 10 o' clock and deposit our luggage and he send memo to day staff But!!!!!!! But we can't get a room at 10o'clock. Day staff she said "Room 311 is not available, because not clean." But We saw customer already gone.
Staff was not welcoming. The room was unprepared, yet they still gave me the key to the room. The window was not able to properly prevent noises from entering.
Clean and functional room
Curtains too thin to darken the room sufficiently for my preference
We stayed for 3 nights. The first night was bad because of window in a street side - noise whole night. But after the stuff found a good more comfortable room. So in general it was a pleasure to stay in Hansa.
Sometimes WiFi was weak. I think that some rooms of this hotel are not comfortable and noisy. You should take a part in a lottery(.
Very clean, location good
Wifi didn't work for me, many worn and slightly damaged parts of furniture and decor.
Very expensive for the quality (400 euros for 2 nights), despite de Oktober Fest!! Rooms need a refurbishment.
Our room was large, beds were comfortable. Wi-fi worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to the center and public transportation.
its much to expensive , for the price we paid you can stay at a real hotel.
the location was ok and they had two female receptionists who were quite helpful when they were on shift
- no manager, you are left at the mercy of the receptionist on duty - definitely not all rooms were as described on site - there were two male receptionists who are not ready to do anything to make you comfortable, they seem not to be happy with the job. - generally, its not a place i will like to stay again and neither will i recommend it to anyone. - at most a glorified 2 star hotel.
too small room / shower wifi not adequate
The rooms are very small
They had limited room left and they still managed to provide an extra bed to accommodate us for very low cost which was very good of them as we had no other option. Only a short walk from Königstraße. Everything was absolutely grand, parking the car was very convenient also.
Working on Monday morning
- quality of rooms was more to what you would expect in a hostel, not a hotel (small room, 2 single beds separated by one night stand, early 90's TV in the room) - furniture was old - Staff was unhelpful and rude (for example we asked at check in if we could get a drink at the bar, and the guy just barked a "no" without any other information. We later found out that the hotel doesn't have a bar - it was just for show, and for holding the juice during breakfast)
