    Location just outside Goslar, far enough away from the city to have nature around but still within walking distance. Friendly staff. Fun theme style housing facade, it looks like a town.

    How much of a hassle the getting on the WIFI is. Just give out codes to the room, instead of filling out a sheet worth of information during registration. Or at least delete username after some time, so it is possible to find a username not used yet. Putting signs on the doors, to show what room numbers hide in the hallway behind them.

    Great customer service! Staff was very willing to compensate us for an unfortunate situation - loud guests in another room.

    Sehr dünne Wände - sound carries!

    - nice, clean place - friendly personnel - tasty food

    - double bed had a big gap between two mattresses what was very uncomfortable - a kettle and couple of glasses would be useful things to have in the room

    Great value for staying in Goslar. Big comfortable rooms, free parking and the place has a great feel. It was only a 10 minute walk into the main part of town, but peaceful at the hotel.

    The walls are thin, so you may hear others coming and going if you get noisy neighbours.

    The rooms are big, the converted mining camp feel is great, breakfast was good and location is only a short stroll from town.

    We would have enjoyed a drink at the bar, but it is closed over winter. Understandable.

    It was clean.

    We were given a smoky room which didn't look much like the photos on the website and at first were told if we chose not to take it and went somewhere else we would still have to pay 80 per cent of the price for three days! But the lady at reception quickly relented and gave us a another, more modern, smoke-free room. The food and the atmosphere are more like a decent youth hostel - I wouldn't mind, but it's not quite enough for hotel prices.

    Great location within walking distance of old town. Quirky design of hotel, like a little village :). Excellent food and choice. Free parking was a help. We would book again!

    The theme of the hotel is very unique. The location is also good, 10 to 15 min walking to go to the city center. Very helpful staff and the morning breakfast was wonderful. The restaurant associated with this hotel served nice food in buffet system. Provides free parking.

    Everything was perfect.

    Although my booking did not arrive at the hotel it was no problem getting a room.

    My reservation didn't arrive at the hotel. Something may went wrong. (Other family members which also booked via had no problems and were added in the guest list of the hotel)

    The location is really nice, in the woods and not too far (less than 2km) from city center. Nice atmosphere and clean, big rooms.

    the breakfast was very good on the weekend, but got much poorer on Monday. Besides that, everything was more than ok.

    Location is in a forest outside a town;

    The breakfast "buffet" was not worth the money;

    The staff is friendly but not overdoing. Good ratio prices/quality. Breakfast is very good and the dinner we had there also with season specialities(fresh chanterelles).

    our room was a bit too dark during the day but unfortunately like everywhere in Germany no shutters no proper curtains to make it nicely dark to sleep. They do want you awake with the daylight (six o'clock)
