The innkeeper is very hospitable and accomodating. This hotel is in a very picturesque little town and it is quiet. The trains zipped by once in a while but we took no exception to that. The town is surrounded by vineyards and the ruins of a castle. Hicking trails are nearby. There is a good restaurant on site and bicycles are available also.

It is in the centre of a very pretty village on the River Mosel with great walks and cycle routes. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly with ample free parking. The restaurant is also very good and reasonable. Breakfasts were good. We enjoyed our stay so much and thought it was such good value, that we are going back in July with visitors from South Africa.

My room was close to the train line, so it was a little noisy

The hotel is in a great place for exploring the region, Koblenz is the closest city which is very easy to get to, Cochem and Burg Eltz are a must see. Rooms & food are great, plenty of choice and all freshly prepared. Stay here if you like wine, the owner makes his own and you can work your way through the 33 different types on offer! Breakfast is cheese, meats & bread, 2 choice of cereal, coffee, tea, orange juice, again all very good. Car is the best way to get about, hotel has private parking.

Depending on the location of your room you can have a great view of the trains as they go past your window! Rooms are double glazed which keeps the noise down but if the weather is hot you would prefer to have them open.

The friendliness of the staff was outstanding, we were made to feel very welcome. The selection of family produced wines is extensive and delicious. The restaurant produced excellent meals.The hotel is situated in a quiet village, but is an ideal location for a day cruise on the Mosel River.

We found everything to our liking.

Very quiet town in the middle of the vinyards. Very good place to visit. We were only passing through but will return for a longer stay.

The guesthouse is close to the railway and noisy when trains pass by. Some mosquitos. The owner didn't was very friendly.

Peaceful area. Opportunity to taste, and buy, local wine at hotel. Convenient for visiting Rhine and Mosel areas. Comfortable room in guesthouse - thus good value for money.

The manager of the hotel was realy nice. We can stay in restaurant over closing hour. The offer own exellent wine.

Wir haben dieses Quartier zum Besuch von Koblenz und der BUGA ausgesucht. Zimmer und Frühstück sind ohne Tadel. An die Geräusche der Bahnlinie konnten wir uns gewöhnen. Es gibt Parkfläche für die Gäste. Das zugehörige Restaurant bietet eine gute Speisekarte und eigene Weine, sowie Sitzplätze draußen und drinnen. Der Wirt gab uns gerne interessante, touristische Informationen zur Region.
