Jugendherberge Frankfurt - Haus der Jugend

We were looking to hotel or hostel near Frankfurt Zuid, so it was almost the only alternative. A bit cold in the rooms, paid wi-fi but free and quite good breakfast.

Fiendly people, very good buffet brekfast

The location, in the nice old district of Sachsenhausen and only a few stops away from the central train station, was lovely -- scenic, walkable to the old town, and close to a tram stop. It's a large youth hostel so it's not personal, but it's nice enough otherwise.

There are a lot of youth groups in this hostel, which was fine for me, but it might put some people off. Check-out is 9:30am. Note: You need to already have or purchase membership onsite to Hostelling International or another IYHF membership; although the website says you can pay a "day membership" for 3.50 EUR, the desk attendant told the man in front of me he had to pay the full membership (20 EUR -- when the man said he couldn't pay that much, he was rudely turned away; the rudeness of the attendant might have been racially motivated).

Our room was clean. The hostel is easy to find, and well located. Staff is nice and friendly.

It's a bit noisy on the morning, and the check-out is early (9:30).

Amazing breakfast!!! Rooms were good. Good security & very helpful staff, bar is very good value! Highly recommend it!

Superb location, good facilities

- Rooms are not air conditioned so it can get quite hot - internet, which not free of charge, does not work properly - no possiblity of parking - breakfast could be a lot better

The hostel is beautifully located. It is easily accessible from Airport and central railway station through public transport system. The hostel staff was excellent. I enjoyed stay in Jugenderburge Frankfurt , and met many people around the world.

The only deficiency which I found is the nonavailability of electric oven in the hostel. It is essential to warm eatables. I availed full kitchen arrangement in Stadion Hostel Helsinki. Travellers come from all over the world, and their taste is different to german foods. Some of them bring cooked foods to eat after heating. So, there should be one electric oven availble to warm food for so many Hostellers.

Sehr laut, Toillete und Dusche nicht einmal am Gang vorhanden, sondern im anderen Stockwerk und nicht sehr sauber, nur für eine Übernachtung geeignet

Sehr sauber, sehr freudlich - Geschäftsreisende werden in einen "ruhigen Gang" einquartiert, in dem keine Jugendlichen wohnen.

Gebäude ist ziemlich hellhörig und die vielen Türen, die auf und zu gehen, haben eine ganze Menge Lärm gemacht.

シャワーは清潔で、数も十分あり、待つことはありませんでした。また、朝食もバリエーションが豊富でカット- したトマトやキュウリがあったのは、野菜不足を補うのに助かりました。

一概にホステルのせいとはいえないかもしれませんが、こちらのサイトでの予約が届いておりませんでした。 また、学生やセミナー参加の外国人などの利用者が多く、夜中はかなりうるさかったし、マナーの悪いおばさん- もいたりして、とてもくつろげませんでした。 wifiは有料で、24時間利用で5€もする割に、ぶつ切れで、wifiにアクセスすることすらできず、困- っている人がたくさんいました。
