Ruime, schone kamers, avondeten was perfect Als we dan toch iets moeten noemen: het ontbijt was prima maar we misten de warme chocolademelk. De vraag is of je in Duitsland bacon and eggs mag verwachten maar dat zou super zijn!

Wij zijn beiden omstreeks de 60 jaar. Wij hebben dit hotel als een zeeeeeer vriendelijk familiehotel ervaren. In alle opzichten top. Van de kamer tot de keuken, echt fantastisch. Wij zijn pas nog in Brugge geweest in een prijs vergelijkbaar hotel, kon hier niet aan tippen. Je kan hier echt merken dat de familie dit hotel met volle inzet en vriendelijkheid leid. Wij gaan hier zonder meer nog wel een keer weer heen voor een weekend of zoals nu voor een Famieliëntreff. Beslist een aanrader! Het enige wat wij als een minpuntje hebben ervaren was dat er nog gerookt mag worden in de "Bierstube". Maar ja, dat is in Duitsland nog niet verboden.

Familiäre Atmosphäre, ich habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt. Die von mir "nur" mit "gut" bewerteten Kriterien waren für mich bei diesem Besuch nachrangig. Eine bessere oder schlechtere Bewertung würde das Bild verfälschen, weshalb die obige Note. Die Allgegenwart eines speziellen Radiosenders (Paloma?) mit 100 % deutschen Schlagern, abends in der Bar und morgens beim Frühstück, war nicht so sehr nach meinem Geschmack. Aber das gehört für mich eher in die Rubrik "Petitessen" ...

Freundliche, engagierte und hilfsbereite Menschen; freundliche Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, Essen und Trinken erstklassig. Dabei viel tiefer Sauerländer Humor. Zimmer 20 hat bei gekipptem Dachfenster den direkten Blick auf das Bett von Zimmer 21 - was sich dann bei heißen Tagen nicht vermeiden lässt. Eine Gardine vor dem Dachfenster in 21 wäre schon empfehlenswert.

Das Hotel wird von der Eigentümerfamilie mit sehr viel persönlichem Einsatz, Freude und auf einem hohen Servicelevel geführt. Preis und Leistung stimmen nicht nur bei er Übernachtung, sondern auch im Restaurant.

Alle leden van de familie Hochstein zijn zeer gastvrij en klantgericht. Zoon Thomas Hochstein is de kok en weet met pure en eerlijke producten uit de regio prachtige gerechten te bereiden. Zoon Jimmy en vader Hochstein bedienen bar en restaurant op super wijze. In de bar mag gerookt worden en is met vaste stamgasten echt sfeervol duits.
