Breakfast is very good.
I liked the cozy ambiance of the place. It was charming.
I was not able to charge my stay, but that was not a real problem.
my single room brilliat, french window, balcony, great view, luv cont brek, clean, exelent shower, gud info, fantastic location and scenery
Location was good....15 min walk from train. Nice breakfast room and great staff......very accommodating to our questions. Lovely neighborhood to walk and close to restaurants
Nothing we didn't like
A very friendly owner who was helpful with advice for dining in the town. The location is a short walk from the town centre. A nice homely atmosphere in a quiet area of the town. The room was very comfortable. An excellent breakfast with a good selection and is included in the price.
Nutella at breakfast. Eggs on the first day. Central location. Corner room had lots of light. Cool dancing statues
A curtain in the shower would be good. Wifi is advertised as free but they charge 50c per hour. Eggs on the second day. Old carpet. Bed had two mattresses with a gap in the middle (my girlfriend still insists that she slept well)
While I was away I found that international roaming had not been activated on my phone. The WiFi connection in my room was my lifeline and never failed me.
No full-length mirrors in the room, and no way to make a cup of tea or coffee in my room in the morning.
- no free wifi (50 cents per hour)
owner was friendly and helpful. Room was cleanish. Furniture very nice. Service at breakfast good. Adequate parking and house was quirky. My partner enjoyed the breakfasts but he is not fussy.
Room smelt a bit stale, little like old nicotine. Carpets quite old. Bathroom dated and very small. No tea and coffee facilities not even the use of a kettle. limited choice of meat at breakfast mainly luncheon meat rather than ham slices. Eggs too cold and runny. Muesli is the only choice of serial. Next rooms balcony ran along side our room so curtains had to be closed fir privacy. We were in room 8.
The room was quite large and well furnished with an outside door to a balcony. Free bus tickets on all green buses.Good breakfast. Management was very helpful
Good location, middle but still silent Absolutely nice and friend staff Breakfast is simple but enough for everyone
Wifi has a small charge (0,5e/h) not bad but it is not free...
good location, no problem with parking, good breakfast, no problem to change the length of my stay, clean room
the premises smelled a little bit (like old or after cigarettes), although not the room
Nice hospitality. Very nice owners
Friendly, accomodating and helpful staff
Frau Brüderl was a fantastic host. The location was perfect. The building had real character. The breakfast was simple but excellent.
Do not have a room near the breakfast room as it is used for gatherings in the evenings that can be VERY noisy.
Location is excellent, and the manager is very kind. Try the Italian restaurant five minutes walk away, La Baita. The neighborhood is quiet, and you have a great mountain view.
It seems that all rooms are smoking rooms. We asked for a non-smoking room and received a room with an ashtray and a strong smoking smell. On our second day the smell was stronger. If you smoke this is the hotel for you; if you do not, there are many comparable choices in the area.
Cosy b & b run very very efficiently by the housekeeper Ms Hofberger (a one woman army). Neat & clean rooms with attached toilets. Haus Hollental is located in a quiet street. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.
The distance from Garmisch station is deceptively long especially if you have heavy luggage (which was the case with me). Best way to commute to Haus Hollental would be take take the Green buses available at a distance of 50 metres as soon as you exit the station on the left. Take the bus which gets you to Marienplatz. The bus charge would be Euro 1.5. As soon as you get off continue walking in the same direction as the bus & at 25 metres turn right into Hollental strasse, where the b & b is located. The bus will basically cut down the distance by more then half.
Very nice place
Too small room
Very clean, quiet and comfortable. The accommodations were roomy and airy. We had a balcony that looked out onto the mountains - just spectacular. The owner was accommodating. The wifi was readily available and did not cost extra. Breakfast was diabetic friendly.
They did not take credit cards. We had to hit up an ATM for payment. They could invest in new towels, which were looking a little threadbare.
Very nice homely hotel. Room was small, but cozy, with wooden furniture (I really enjoyed that furniture and interior as a whole). Owner is a wonderful lady, very friendly and responsive. Thank you!
Breakfast was limited and slow
everything was great! location, price/quality, authenticity, owner
Only room was cold for me
The staff was very nice and helped with useful informations. Our room was a 2-Bed room with mountain view - we had a nice little balcony where we could enjoy the view of the Zugspitze from. The beds were so comfy that we had problems to get out of bed every morning, but I guess that's more a good then a bad thing. ;)
We only missed a water boiler on the room to make some tea. But except that - nothing else to complain about. :)
Great location and great staff, very friendly
They don't accept credit cards
