Plain German efficiency and courtesy. I was in my room in 6 minutes, having check-in and paid the bill. My rate included transfer to the nearby Köln-Bonn airport, which is arranged by taxi. Wish I have more time in a next stay to enjoy the rest of this hotel.

Clean, cozy hotel for budgeting and simultaneously comfortable staying. Located at 10 min by car from Koln-Bonn airport (thus, location is not very convenient for everyday trips to center of the city, if no car is rented). The center of the city could be reached by bus + subway (25 min approx.). Room is very well equipped for this class of hotels and quite spacious. Staff is friendly; breakfast is ok.

I would say that the location of this hotel is perfect for businessmen on transfer flights. The reception manager is an extremely nice and helpful man and the room is very confortable. Not to speak about the fact that the transfer to the airport from the hotel is FOC.

The nice comfortable atmosphere. The friendliness of the staff. Nothing to do with the hostel itself, but unfortunately the girls I was sharing my room with were quite unhygienic, scattered and loud late at night, but friendly nevertheless. So no problems, but not so comfortable :) Anyway, I still liked the hostel and would stay again.

Simple comfort, no extra. Nice people. Close to the airport and the dlr. No elevator to reach the 3rd floor... With suitcase not the most convenient however the personnel was helpful and very kind. The door of the room let light and noise from the corridor to enter the room.

The 3-person room I have stayed in was a very good room for 1 to 3 people with decent amount of free space and furniture. The location of the hotel is very close to the Köln/Bonn airport. You can go to/from the airport with a short trip using taxi.

Silent breakfast room, small and crowded..put some background music on! It was like eating in a monastary. The room was okay. Tiny towels. Very very basic. No bar or any fod when I arrived at 8pm hungry and thirsty...I Was directed on a 'short" 15 minute walk through suberbia to a very basic bar. I skipped it and has a passable meal at a Steak House further down the road. No sihn of the manager in the morning, just an over worked lady trying to serve coffee and tea and set tables.

Take train S12 from the centre, switch to bus 160. The hotel is just 100m from the bus station. A comfortable and fast way to get to the hotel (35min max), by taxi is approx 25min. No restaurant at the hotel, the closest one is approx 20 minutes walk. Quite place, good priced opposite to the ones in the town, especially during the exhibitions. Rooms are OK. Free wifi! No restaurant, only breakfast

The staff were excellent. The accomodations were excellent. The breakfast was amazing. Nice people and nice place. I would recommend them to anyone. If you need a/c then you will need to look elsewhere but our room was comfortable with the two large windows open. This is a German hotel so if you want to experience the culture of your location this is a great place to do just that.

“The "pseudo-attention" paid to travelers at big chains are revealed for what they really are when you stay at Hotel Karsten because you get the real thing there. From arrival to personal and prompt delivery to the airport the next morning, this stay was wonderful. The hotel seems to be frequented by officers from the nearby German air base. I have never been greeted so often and so politely by other travelers at a German hotel. On top of that, breakfast was great in very pleasant surroundings.
