buses and trams stop just a minute close
Poor service manner; one reception lady is rude and unhelpful, her answer is almost negative and unwilling to help. Noisy all the day until midnight.
Clean and safe
Unable to access wifi
I liked the location because it was close to the two areas I wanted to see - the Olympic stadium and BMW museum
I like it & will be next time soon
At night it's little bit noisy because of outside traffic. I suggest, sound proof glasses should be put if you can pls.
We have a room with private WC wich is ok, enough space and clean. The breakfast is good but a lot of teenie running around, which cannot complain for the Hostel.
The staff is not very friendly and not really helpful (not willing to give info) when you ask info. The price is quite high for Hostel but maybe because of the Oktoberfest period. The location is not bad but also not perfect. There is a tram / bus stop in front of the place which you can ride for another 2 stops to the underground station.
Friendly staff. The place is excellent and very accessible.
Internet connection is very poor even in the hotel lobby. Noise in the corridor even after 10pm.
very clean and neat room, breakfast was good, location good for walking, and the staff at the front desk was very helpful and informative with all my questions. clerk on my departure morning very helpful, as the transport strike had started and I had to get to airport, ;she went above and beyond to help.
door locks are absurd...and try as they did to explain at checkin, it took several frustrating tries to get into the room.....what they DIDNT tell you is to NOT keep turning the knob, anyway finally figured it out, but saw people on my floor struggling every day. kitchen staff not the happiest people I have ever come across, unfortunately.
1) right at the centre of city with access to the public transport system 2) very close to theresenwiese (oktoberfest ground) 3) best suited if you are singles & looking to cut down on the cost
1) we repeatedly requested for replacing the towels but in vain 2) Wi Fi works only in the lobby 3) Night club closes down by 12am
Good breakfast, old town is only 20 min away (if bus & train are running on schedule).
The service from the staff, they are so rude!!!
At my breakfast in yogurt I found black hair. Breakfast was spoiled for a long time
The hostel is clean
Poor service regarding the receptionists Rude staff They charged me using my bank account without my permission
Simple, no thrills exactly as it says on the tin. Excellent breakfast
The system to unlock your rooms was a hassle. We stayed there for 3 days and had to ask people to open our door each time. What's wrong with a swipe key?
It is really the cheapest variant for young people in Munich.
It's a hostel. It speaks for itself. I would not recommend it families. There are lot of young people, who didn't want sleep at night.
The staff there are absolutely awful, extremely rude and unhelpful, Especially the security staff. The wifi hardly worked and would only work in the stairwells at night but security would come and scream at you in German and pull you off the stairs and push you in to your room. Absolutely terrible. I hated every minute of staying here.
Rooms were available in octoberfest
Very poor hotel at hotel prices. It is an hostel
Bed was comfy, breakfast was ok but quite bland. Daily room cleaning. Close to public transport
Someone vomited twice on the floor outside our room. We went to tell reception and we were told that it 'wasn't in there job description to clean it up' and that since the janitor had gone home, it would 'have to stay there until morning'. Horrible showers, locks on doors are too complicated, too noisy with Contiki buses there everyday. Some staff were not very friendly. Wifi connection very intermittent.
Close to transport Clean Decent breakfast Bag storage Helpful staff, directions to Oktoberfest was printed out and able to buy train tickets from reception
Noisy Hot room but too hot if window is opened Drains in shower don't work well Showers keep turning off
Located right next to the tram line into downtown. Management very responsive to rowdy behavior by other guests. This is very much a youth hostel and it comes with all the silliness this entails. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the neighborhood, they pointed us in the direction of the nearby "waschsalon" so we could do our laundry.
No fan in bathroom and the floor got wet no matter what we did while showering. Towels did not come with the 4 person room, but did with the 1 and 2 person rooms, we brought our own. Breakfast was okay. No access to hot drinks after the dining room closed for the night.
room is clean and big.
So many peoples stay in this hostel, so make wifi was not really can be use.
Good breakfast, clean and comfortable. Very well prepared to recieve the tourists for oktoberfest.
Just one power socket in a room for 4 people.
breakfast was decent bed was ok
kids making all kind of noise all night from 9pm to 4pm and again from 8am in the morning. they even played soccer in the cooridoor.
wifi is not good
Easy to find and good breakfast.
